• "We stayed at the Coach House for a week in August with our children aged 12, 10 and 7."

  The absolute highlight of the stay was the swimming pool and hot tub area which we were lucky enough to use plenty as the weather was amazing. The coach house was so very lovely and clean, everything you could need in the kitchen to make family meals and beds very comfortable. Lots of lovely little personal touches too we felt very well looked after by our hosts. Ingrid and Neil are the most hospitable and relaxed hosts and it was lovely to get to know them and their lovely dog too. We needn't have worried about the proximity of the Coach house to their home it wasn't a problem at all. Thank you for a wonderful holiday stay we have come away with great memories!

• "Beautiful cottage."

  Very clean and cosy. Thoughtful welcome gifts. We enjoyed using the pool and hot tub. The enclosed paddock was great for the dog. Good central location for trips to Ross, Monmouth and Symmonds Yat.

  Beautiful walks from the property and easy access to all the main places in the Wye Valley. The owners were helpful and friendly and the Coach House was immaculate. Having had beautiful weather the pool and the hot tub came in for a great deal of use !! A really lovely holiday

• "We had yet another fabulous holiday at the coach house."

  Every thing you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday is provided by the lovely owners. Our daughter loved the pool and our dog enjoyed racing round the paddock whilst my husband and I enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

• "We had a wonderful holiday!"

  From the cleanliness of the house to the beautiful pool area, every minute was fantastic. Our large dog was very welcomed and loved the local walks. The large and beautifully manicured, enclosed gardens made us feel at ease with both our dog and young children. The hosts are the star of this experience also. They were welcoming, an array or marmalade, chocs and a delicious homemade cake awaited us, and were always available for advice or a chat but at the same time non existent... a unique ability. They even provided us with some home grown rhubarb! We spent each morning around the pool area and the afternoons exploring the local area. The cottage was in a perfect location for exploring. We would highly recommend a stay here.

  Super clean, modern and so well stocked with everything you would need. The girls LOVED the pool area, the dog LOVED the enclosed area and we LOVED that everyone had a great time.   The house was extremely clean and comfortable, with all the amenities needed - including plastic utensils for the children!   It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. We were made to feel very welcome and the cottage provided everything we needed. We were lucky to have glorious weather so our daughter was able to use the pool every day. We were sad to leave and hope to return again next year.

• "Absolutely loved the Coach House!"

  The cottage was light, modern and extremely comfortable with all mod cons and in a peaceful location. The hot tub and swimming pool were the added luxury and made our holiday! The owners are very friendly and relaxed. For dogs, the cottage is enclosed, but there is also a small paddock on site and plenty of lovely walks from the house. The area is beautiful with Ross-on-Wye, Symonds Yat and Monmouth all within easy reach. Highly recommend the Coach House and will definitely be coming back again!

  Such a lovely place for our family to stay. Excellent accommodation, beautiful local scenery and walks plus the owners (Ingrid and Neil) are so welcoming, helpful and friendly. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a great place to stay in the Wye Valley region. Very close to Ross on Wye town centre (5 mins drive), so easy access to shops, restaurants and amenities. We hope to return once again for another break next year.

• "Stayed for a week as a family of 5 with 3 teenage boys in July."

  The coach house was immaculate and felt like a home away from home with everything we could possibly need. The owners were very helpful/friendly and having the use of the pool and jacuzzi was a game changer, the boys loved it and went in every day. Was a great base for exploring and if the weather is good would definitely recommend a canoe trip down the river. Can’t wait to return

• "Had a brilliant stay."

  The Coach House was well equipped and had that new feeling to it. The owners were very friendly and helpful. My son Josh who is a special needs young person kept seeking them out and the interaction was a delight. Josh wants to go back and is missing Blue (the dog) very much!!! Lovely friendly place to visit. The Butterfly zoo was a wonder to behold. We will be returning. Thank you.

  The house itself was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed, including milk in the fridge on arrival! The pool and hot tub were a real hit with my son, despite not having the best weather! Our dog loved the paddock and the little dog basket with towels and treats was a really lovely touch! • "The Coach House is lovely and everything we hoped for."

  Cleanliness was first class, the surroundings are beautiful and the owners were very helpful. We would've liked to give 5 stars, however we feel the listing is inaccurate in regards to the swimming pool and hot tub as we hadn't expected the use of these to be restricted to certain times. This should be mentioned in the listing as we were disappointed not to be able to use the hot tub on Saturday and Sunday evenings, and to be given set times when we could use the pool. We appreciate the owners wanted to use them as well, but feel we should've been pre-warned before booking.

• "Absolutely loved our week at The Coach House."

  Ingrid and Neil couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Really nice people. We've got 3 boys under 10 and a 1 year old so things are always a bit hectic for us, but this week was so good. Having the pool and the hot tub all to ourselves just made the whole experience special for the kids. After a year of chaos they were ready to have some fun and they really did. It's a lovely part of the country with loads to see and do. Highly recommend!!

  Our two children 7 and 4 made most of the swimming pool. The cottage is gorgeous, very tidy and beautiful. The host were so friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. They gave us great tips for places to visit and things to do close by. Great location. We would 100% recommended holiday in the Coach house.

• "We have had a wonderful stay."

  The Coach House has been beautifully furnished and provisions have been well thought out, from spare towels for the pool, a nespresso machine, laundry / dishwasher pods, and plenty of crockery so that the dishwasher doesn’t need to go on half load. Lovely cut wildflowers and welcome treats were really thoughtful. The grounds and surrounding area is incredibly beautiful, the children thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well as visiting the local attractions. The owners are warm, welcoming and have made this a real home from home. We have recommended the Coach House to friends and wouldn’t hesitate booking again in the future. Thank you!
