  • "What a lovely comfortable place to stay & in a quiet area of the countryside which was ideal for us getting away from any fireworks with our dog."

    Immaculately clean & well maintained, a little welcome pack of milk & wine in the fridge was very much appreciated too. Our host was on hand if we needed anything but everything was catered for so the only time we saw him was when we were heading out for the day or coming back in to settle for the evening. If you’re after a relaxing quiet place to stay in comfort this is the ideal place for you. Highly recommended

  • "Would highly recommend this absolutely wonderful little cottage."

    Located in a lovely setting, decorated to a high specification internally, beautifully presented and all your needs catered for. The owners are fantastic, lovely people who were very friendly and welcoming to both us and our dogs. They did everything they could to ensure we enjoyed our stay in the cottage. We will definitely be planning a return visit.

  • "We had a fantastic break at the Nest with our friends, the accommodation was immaculately clean and had all the home comforts that you require."

    The location was well situated for visiting the local attractions and lovely canal walks which we like with our friends dog Yogi. I would particularly recommend Hercules Revived for a fantastic evening meal and also The Millers Greene King Inn which were both very pet friendly and accommodating.I would also like to give Pete and Kim the owners a mention because they were very warm and welcoming to us and our friends dog, and Pete your one of life’s few gentlemen thanks for a fantastic stay and we hope to see you soon.     The best cottage I have ever stayed in.The owners were wonderful, so helpful and friendly without being intrusive.An absolute delight. Cottage furnished to an amazing standard, everything you could wish for and a welcome pack.Two good pubs in the village, easy to walk to and excellent meals.

  • "The whole Nest experience was one of warmth and welcome."

    The cottage has everything we could need plus a few lovely extras. It’s quiet and peaceful yet well located for lots of amenities and places to explore. Sophie-Jayne and family were perfect hosts, warm and helpful. We hope to use this as our base on future visits to Leicestershire with our whippet Fergus.

This ground-floor barn conversion sits in the little village of Sutton Cheney, in the western part of Leicestershire.

Boasting a character feel with vaulted ceilings, open-plan living and an enclosed front patio, The Nest provides a lovely bolthole for families and couples looking to escape reality for a little while.

After a day of wandering the local surroundings, kick back on the sofa and tune into the Smart TV, whilst the designated chef becomes acquainted in the kitchen and conjures up something delicious, assisted by a range of appliances.

Congregate at the dining table, toasting to a lovely escape with your nearest and dearest, before escaping to the enclosed patio for a tipple whilst the sun sets.

At either end of the living area are the bedrooms, with the master occupying a king-size bed and the second bedroom offering two singles, which can be arranged as a king-size, with both bedrooms featuring contemporary en-suite shower rooms.
