Good location walks from the property, including walking to Iron Bridge. As other reviews have mentioned welcome pack is a very nice touch including fresh flowers. Would have no hesitation recommending this property to anyone who is looking in this area.

The facilities and comfort level are great and there are some lovely personal touches provided by the owner. Despite being next to traffic lights on a fairly busy road, and opposite a pub, once you are inside you can’t hear anything so we had a really peaceful and relaxing stay. It’s worth noting that there is quite a big step down from the master bedroom into the en-suite - not a problem but just needs to be watched out for if using the bathroom during the night! The Grove is also ideally located to explore Ironbridge and all that Shropshire has to offer. We would highly recommend.

Everything was supplied, kitchen the best equipped I have ever seen and such thoughtfulness from the owners to leave a welcome basket! Excellent and we had the best time and weather too!

The kitchen is furnished with everything you need to prepare a lovely meal. There are extras like the coffee machine which is a great start to your day before exploring the local sights. The lounge is beautifully styled and has a relaxing atmosphere which was really appreciated on an autumn evening. I would highly recommend this lovely country apartment.

We had a really comfortable stay and will return. Katie was very helpful suggesting various eateries, There are museums to the rear of the property which are 5min walk away , it's about a 20 minute walk into Ironbridge and various cafes and shops.

We couldn't fault it at all. It was comfortable, clean and well equipped. It is sited very well for all of the Ironbridge museums and for walkers they wouldn't need to take the car. There's a good bus service just a couple of minutes up the road which will take you to Shrewsbury or Telford. I would highly recommend this property for anyone visiting Ironbridge. It was extremely clean and well decorated and cared for. There is parking for one car and nowhere obvious close by that you could park a second car but this is clear in the description. Only a 15 minute walk into Ironbridge and there is more than enough to do with the museums alone to fill your time as well as plenty of local walks. We were also made to feel extremely welcome in the local pub across the road (Coalbrookdale Inn). The current landlord has only just taken over and so isn't doing food at the time of our visit but his intention is to do so in time. All in all, a fantastic stay and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

The accommodation was perfect, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated & with everything you could possibly need. The terrace outside was perfect to catch the afternoon & early evening sun. Location was also just right, a 15min walk down to Ironbridge which we found to be a really lovely place to visit with a huge variety of pubs/restaurants/cafes etc to visit. So much to see within an hour or so of travel from Coalbrookdale as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our week there & can’t recommend this apartment highly enough. Thank you.

Especially Kitchen facilities were really thoughtful and very easy to use them.(only one thing we couldn't use microwave oven as there was no instruction.) The location is great for walks and visiting the beautiful Shropshire countryside. There are several eating establishments in Ironbridge if you prefer not to cater for yourselves. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

COALBROOKDALE
Ironbridge 0.25 miles; Shrewsbury 22 miles.
The village of Coalbrookdale is situated close to the banks of the River Severn and is part of the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge Gorge. This pretty village was once the site of the most famous ironworks in the world and today hosts three of ten museums which celebrate the history of the Ironbridge World Heritage Site. A short walk away is the centre of Ironbridge village itself, home of the world's first iron-built bridge, built between 1777-79. The village also has many pubs, restaurants, shops and tea rooms. A collection of industrial and Victorian themed museums makes up the Ironbridge Museums, including Blists Hill Victorian Village. Within driving distance are the popular towns of Shrewsbury, Ludlow and Much Wenlock, along with the Wroxeter Roman City and National Trust properties. Coalbrookdale is an excellent base from which to explore the area.
