Loved it! It had everything that we need and even more. It is a shame that the local farmers are so mean and there seems to be no access to footpaths unless you drive somewhere else.

Thank you so much for your review. Glad you enjoyed your stay. We do have a lovely circular walk from the Mews out of the village and over the river and back round into the other end of the village. Hope to see you again soon. Alison. Property Owner

  • "The Mews is very conveniently located for exploring The Cotswolds."

The accommodation itself has been thoughtfully designed, is comfortable and very cosy on a cool day. The only thing it lacks is an area of garden/patio/decking should the weather be nice enough to want to sit outside! Apart from that, I cannot fault it.

Would rate as 4.5 stars. Just a little constructive criticism, the soft squishy leather sofa is not suitable for people with back problems, and it would have been nice to have somewhere to store groceries. Kitchen area very well equipped. Bed very comfortable - better than the new one we have at home. Poor weather curtailed our stay

Hi Caroline. Thanks for your feedback. Im glad you found the bed super comfy. I’m sorry that the weather wasn’t great while you were here and that you had to leave early. I hope your family member is ok. Also sorry that you didn’t find our sofa very comfortable. I have emptied one of the cupboards to be used for groceries, but most of the space is taken up with the fridge , dishwasher, washing machine and cooker! Hope to see you again. We had fabulous week, we found the apartment peaceful, relaxing and very well equipped. An added bonus was the fact you can get the bus into Stratford-on-Avon and Shipston-on-Stour from the end on the driveway. We had great time sight seeing around the Cotswolds and enjoyed a few meals at The Bell just along the road from Coach House Mews. C&J

From the friendliness and great service from the owners, to the cleanliness of the property - perfect! The wifi reception was great, which you don't often get at a holiday property. The apartment itself was really well thought out and had everything we needed for our stay. The surrounding area is just gorgeous, with lots to do and a great pub next door. Had a warm welcome on arrival. Only thing missing is some outside space but the pub next door has a large garden, lots of seating and a friendly welcome so we visited in the evening sunshine. Stratford is close by too with a lovely park by the river. Will definitely return if in the area area again.

  • "It's a lovely mews cottage."

However, we missed not having somewhere for the dog to go eg. a small outside enclosed garden area and most of all there was not one inch of cupboard space to store the food we bought with us, only the fridge. Just 1 cupboard would have been very useful. Apart from that we couldn't fault the cottage. Lovely area, very quiet and the pub almost next door!

We're glad that you enjoyed your stay in the Mews but only sorry that you missed the information in the listing about there not being any outside space for your dog. There are lots of lovely walks nearby and the pub is dog friendly. We have noted your comments about storage space for food items. We will look at maybe not providing quite so much crockery and cooking equipment to make more room for that. Thanks very much for your feedback and we hope to see you again. Alison and Paul. The accommodation was faultless and immaculately clean and modern. The location was central for exploring the local area. We did a lot of walking around the countryside surrounding the property and the neighbouring villages of Ettington and Halford. We also travelled out by car to Bourton-on-the-Water, Moreton-in-Marsh, Shipston-on-Stour which were all around 40 minutes away. Stratford-upon-Avon was also only 10 minutes in the car and The Bell pub was literally next door and was great for a quick drink or a lovely Sunday lunch. We will definitely be returning as soon as we get chance as this was a great little find and the owners must be very proud of it!

The Bell pub is 100 mtrs away and provides excellent quality food. The only thing missing is an outdoor space to sit ,otherwise we would have given the cottage 5 stars. The Coach House Mews is really lovely and comfortable. The one thing it lacks is any outside space to enjoy all of that sun. Luckily the pub next door has a great beer garden and also serves very nice food. The village itself is charming. We were made to feel very welcome. It is a great base for lots of adventures. We went to five National Trust properties, all within easy driving distance. We also had a great day out in Oxford and explored the lovely villages of the Cotswolds.
