    The house was very neat and spotless. The kitchen is fully equipped. The only slight downside might be that the house doesn't have an English cottage style.

  • "We found the cottage to be clean, comfy and as advertised, it was very hot during our stay so the fans were very welcome too."

    It has everything you need for a break - and while we didn't eat in other than breakfast as we were out all day and tended to eat before coming back for the evening but the kitchen was well equipped. It's in a beautiful area and other than occasional traffic going past is very quiet, there are several pubs in both directions from the cottage and it is very well located for days out. We will book again as we'd love to explore the area more - very nostalgic for me as my Parents owned a holiday caravan up the road in Barton 30 years ago so being able to share this area with my own children is great.

  • "Rose Cottage was spotless, warm and very comfortable."

    The owner was very pleasant and we really appreciated the milk & cake he left for us. Lovely views from front & back of the property, very quiet even on a busy road. It was perfect for visiting Stratford upon Avon & Warwick Castle and National Trust properties. We shall definitely book here again if we visit that area.

    Etc.Have been twice now and booking again.lovely and helpful hosts 4pubs in village and all takeaways within 4 miles,and all good.Plenty of places to visit,cotswolds,national trusts,Antiques, and of course Statford on avon.

  • "Rose Cottage, Welford on Avon, Warwickshire - March 2026 We stayed at Rose Cottage in 2025 and found it such a good property that we returned as soon as possible."

    Once again, we were completely satisfied. We had our own assigned parking spot and the owners came out to greet us, which was a nice touch. The kitchen as well equipped & provided everything we needed, even much appreciated milk and cake. The cottage was just right. The chairs in the sitting room were comfortable, as were the beds. In spite of the road being well used there was no sound of traffic and the views from the front and back windows were just beautiful. We enjoyed strolling round the village with its attractive thatched cottages & having good meals at The Bell & at the Four Alls in Welford. We went eight National Trust properties within the local are as well as Kenilworth Castle. Rose Cottage proved to be an excellent place to stay as well as being a perfect base. Maureen & Mike

  • "Beautiful cottage very clean and tidy ."

    We enjoyed the use of the high chair and Travel cot. Excellent location beautiful views. Living room was very spacious and we made use of the small patio area at the back. Only negative for us was the bedroom floor creaking but would not put us off would definitely stay here again. Owners live next door but leave you to enjoy your stay. Definitely recommend staying here .

    Good WiFi connection. Huge room downstairs. Very clean. Biscuits and milk was a lovely touch. Bathroom quite small but for the two of us was fine.Owners live next door very welcoming and helpful. Bedding and pillows could do with upgrading just not the best quality. No noise at all from the adjoining semi. Parking good. Heated up very quickly and retained the heat. We would recommend iii visiting this area.

  • "Lovely cottage suitable for 2 adults and 2 kids or 4 adults who get on well."

    Only downside for us was the single toilet but we knew that going in, and have stayed there before. Picturesque location with beautiful views out the front and the back. The owners are very welcoming and friendly but leave you to enjoy your stay. WiFi is good enough to stream TV and the offroad parking is suitable for 2 cars.

    The owners were very welcoming. The cottage was in a great position for visiting local attractions, National Trust properties, Stratford on Avon, Evesham, Warwick etc. The cleanliness was the best we have ever encountered in a holiday cottage & the cottage had everything we needed for our stay. Every home comfort was there! The owners clearly take great pride in Rose Cottage & it certainly shows. We had a lovely stay & would definitely recommend it.
