  • "Fabulous little cottage in excellent position for walking into Broadway village and visiting all that the Cotswolds has to offer."

Recently renovated and tastefully decorated …bed was very comfortable which is always a bonus. Lovely modern bathroom and large kitchen area which was very well equipped. Will definitely rebook.

  • "The house was delightful and immaculate in every way."

The owners have gone to a lot of trouble and thought to provide a comfortable home for their guests , including clear instructions for operating appliances. I particularly appreciated note on operating shower, nothing worse than wondering which way to turn knob and getting water from overhead when wanting hand shower!!! The house is just five minutes walk from centre of Broadway and excellently placed for visiting the Cotswolds generally. I cannot praise this property highly enough.

  • "A lovely convenient place to stay close to the centre of Broadway."

..obviously been recently refurbished..Comfortable beds and well stocked large kitchen dining area..Luxury of 3 TV s.A hairdryer was unfortunately not provided so had to get one from a charity shop which was a bit annoying. The sofas were for us not terribly comfortable but we managed.Overall a very up to date house and definitely recommendable.

  • "Good morning Sykes holiday team, Improvements that should be made , the two lounge sofa seat cushions are very uncomfortable after one hour on them ,they don’t match each other and seem old ,considering everything thing else in the house is new , no toilet roll holder in the upstairs bathroom ,had to balance roll on top toilet !"

I think it’s been an over site , also in the same bathroom in the shower no basket for shower gel / shampoo , foot stools in lounge would be a good idea , after a day of walking many miles putting your feet up makes it more comfortable for any age group , i think you would agree , and finally the outside black rubbish bin is full of maggots ,bin being close to the patio doors is not good , not sure if this is a emergency job for the cleaner or the gardener , please contact suzie or dave asap before flies develop , PS thanks to Dave for sorting the front bedroom toilet door lock , it needs oil for the turn button when the door is closed it’s difficult to turn , as a retired kitchen fitter &j joiner this is an easy fix , sort the above issues and you will have the perfect holiday house . Kind regards Dave & Jane G

We are disappointed you found issues during your stay. In response to your feedback and to go over your points raised: As discussed, all furniture in the property is new. Both sofas are made of natural fillings and not man made fibre, so comfort may be down to a personal preference. The toilet roll holder in the bathroom is there with several toilets rolls on it. Noted about the shower caddy, one has been ordered. We do not provide foot stools as space is limited and they are not a necessity. As for the bin, we have no control over what guests place in the bin and whether it has been wrapped appropriately. This has since been cleaned and disinfected with no trace now of imposters! Thank you though for stating the kitchen is so well equipped and that you found the beds very comfortable for your bad back. We hope you appreciate our efforts made. Property Owner

Standard of cleanliness; instructions; quality of bedding, towels, etc. and the quality of cooking equipment in the kitchen was excellent. Quality of white goods also excellent. I loved the oven it was a pleasure to use it. The size of the kitchen was great for family dinners, especially trat fir me as i have a very small kitchen!! We will be back again next year.

Thank you for the lovely note you left. Great to hear you all had a fabulous stay. Look forward to seeing you again next year. Property Owner

Spotlessly clean. Perfect location. Comfy beds. Everything we needed. Only thing we would’ve liked was a tray/soap dish in the shower. Apart from that, perfection. Didn’t want to leave.

Many thanks Julie for your feedback. Noted re the shower caddy. Hope to welcome you back again. Property Owner

  • "Would have expected a hairdryer(looked everywhere but couldn't find one) and may be some tin foil but other than that absolutely stunning."

the property was so clean would definitely go back if in the area. Broadway a lovely place to visit, plenty of shops and things to do. The colour scheme was lovely. May be a gate to the side but this is us just nit picking. Everything was as described and appliances were absolutely spotless. Well done who ever maintains/cleans the property

Thank you for your kind comments. Nice to hear you enjoyed your stay. Unfortunately we do not supply hair dryers, as they can be a personal preference. Spare foil and cling film can be found in the kitchen drawers. We hope to welcome you back again in the future. Property Owner

  • "Already booked again (which will be my 3rd time)."

That says it all really. The house is stunning, the village is stunning, the location is fantastic, just 0.5 mile from the centre of the one of THE most beautiful villages. Having the garden and the parking space is a huge bonus and the house feels so homely and private, not really overlooked and just everything about it says "Quality". The first time I stayed there on my own (March), this time (July) my sister came with me and she was equally impressed. Already looking forward to my next visit. Thank you!

  • "Had a fabulous week at the cottage, very comfortable, the property is in a fantastic location just minutes from the high street in Broadway."

The cottage was spotlessly clean throughout, we felt really at home as soon as we walked through the door, and soon settled in. A very quiet garden area was a bonus for us, due to the great weather we had last week. Access to the main roads was easy from the cottage and we found getting around quite easy, the cottage is a great base for seeing the highlights of the Cotswolds. Parking next to the cottage is a real bonus, but the cottage interior is lovely a great kitchen, with everything and more, you would ever need, lovely bathroom, en suite, and even a utilities room, smart TVs in all of the rooms, we would definitely stay there again, one of best we’ve stayed in. Finally Broadway is a fantastic village to stay in, got a lovely feel about it, and lovely just to wander around, even though it does get busy at weekends.

Thank you so much for the lovely comments. The weather really was great for you, we're pleased you sat out and took advantage of the sunshine. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon. Thank you again. Property Owner

. Beautiful interior, the owners have put a lot of love & attention into this property. Cosy, a lovely garden to sit in if you get nice weather, which we did.. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.. The only little thing i would say is they could do with a blind in the bathroom .. but other than that just perfect!

  • "I booked a four day stay in March and a further week in July just from the look of the property online."

Now I have actually just visited the property I am so glad I have already booked again for the summer. The house is absolutely stunning and quality shines throughout. I simply can't wait to go back. It's so well done and well thought through. Easy to follow notes and instructions are provided as well as a lovely welcome pack, toiletries and personalised welcome card. The parking space was very important to me too. It's on a relatively main road into the village but the house and garden are still lovely and quiet and come highly recommended. My only suggestion would be to make the garden secure for bikes in the summer. I'm so looking forward to my next visit (and hopefully many more in the future). Just stunning and Dazie Cottage is an amazing location for exploring this beautiful part of the country.

So glad you had an enjoyable and comfortable stay. We look forward to welcoming you back again in the summer. Property Owner

  • "This is a great place to stay for a nice quiet break away from home."

Lovely touch to find a welcome basket with a message, chocolates and tea/coffee sachets. On top of providing this welcome basket, there was a fresh bottle of milk in the fridge, plenty of cleaning products and clothes washing products that we were able to use. Very helpful to find a folder of how to use everything in the house and things to do/places around the area. Not a long walk away from things such as shops, pubs and restaurants. Board/family games are in a cupboard, if you wanted to stay in. I would recommend this cottage to stay at and if I am ever to stay in broadway again, I would definitely try and book back here!
