"Tiles to kitchen floor cracked, loose and extremely slippery to dogs, not suitable."
Conservatory tiles much better. Bedrooms small for doubles. Shower head not secure Front door lock difficult to lock and unlock. Conservatory door difficult to open. Cobwebs to conservatory ceiling Door nobs to wardrobes loose. Trickle vent to main bedroom window was broken when we arrived. Lots of leaves to garden that kept getting brought in to house. Some lights to garden did not work. Main bin outside full to top. 4pm late arrival not suitable, 2pm at latest would have been much more acceptable. Bed very comfortable. Tea, coffee and milk a nice touch as property is remote. Property overall is nice and peaceful but slippery flooring to kitchen prompted us to cut short our stay as one of the dogs could not cope.
-
"A very pleasant property, but the hot water system seems to be unable to provide enough water for a hot bath."
Otherwise, we very much enjoyed the spacious kitchen, living room, conservatory and garden. Bedrooms and bathroom are adequate, if a little small.
-
"We had a great relaxing weekend away, the cottage was lovely, very clean and well equipped with everything you need."
It’s in a quiet, peaceful location and has a beautiful, large garden. Would definitely stay there again!
-
"Lovely bungalow in a peaceful location with convenient road access to visit surrounding areas."
Lucy, our host, was extremely helpful and communicated clearly and very promptly.
-
"The cottage is generally excellent, comfortable and well presented and situated in a really lovely village which provides a great base for exploring this pretty part of Warwickshire."
The bathroom is rather small and for us, being of advanced years, it presented some challenges, but overall this was a most enjoyable, homely and relaxing stay. Lovely to have a large screen TV rather than the tiny ones found in too many holiday cottages.
-
"We had a wonderful stay in this cottage."
It was very clean and tidied. The landscape around is beautiful. Thank you very much.
-
"Garden, living room, kitchen and conservatory are excellent Bedrooms are a bit small - bed takes up most of space Bathroom satisfactory Overall, very pleasant cottage 10."

We all thoroughly loved our stay here. Village was also beautiful .
-
"We had a great stay for 4 nights in this beautiful cottage."
Very cosy and set in an idyllic location. Dogs loved the garden, very secure and surrounded by sheep. Will definitely go back.
-
"Peace and quiet with only the sheep for neighbours."
The cottage is lovely and lived up to all the great reviews. The village of Priors Marston is really pretty and well worth a thorough exploration. Not a yellow line in sight! Easy visits to Canons Ashby, Charlecote park and Daventry Country Park for some great dog walks. An extremely enjoyable week, highly recommended.
-
"Spacious cottage in beautiful quiet suroundings."
Extremely well kept and very clean. Enjoyed our short stay and will look to return later in the year when not so wet!
-
"A delightful property in beautiful countryside."
Very clean with all the necessary facilities. It is like a home from home. Very comfortable beds and furnishings. Ideal break for family with dog as there are plenty of walks right next to the property. Plenty of parking. Enjoyed the welcome biscuits and postcard from Lucy. We will certainly want to come for a return stay.
-
"A lovely well sited cottage with excellent views out over the fields."
The facilities in the cottage are excellent. The garden was very spacious and the dogs enjoyed being able to run round it. Good walks from the cottage in all directions and loads to see and do within the area. Thanks Lucy for letting us stay in your wonderful cottage.
-
"Really enjoyed our stay, furniture is comfortable and whole place lovely and clean."
We would definitely stay again. Conservatory was a bit chilly due to a few gaps in the door, and a tray would be useful but not a massive problem. A shelf under the bathroom mirror would make the place perfect. A great place to stay
-
"High quality, thoughtfully presented property with friendly, responsive host."
Cottage is private and set off main road. All amenities were provided to high standard. Cosy winter stay, but would be delightful in the summer with conservatory, private garden and field views. Would definitely recommend and rebook.
-
"We booked the cottage at short notice."
It has everything you need for a lovely stay, and more. The views are amazing. Communication regarding the booking was great. We would have stayed another week if it was not already booked. Would definitely recommend.
-
"We had a lovely 3 nights at grange cottage, it was cosy, warm & clean overlooking fields of sheep & wildlife."
Lovely village too. So nice to stay somewhere where everything works so easily & well. Only down side for me was I found the beds very firm. Well done Lucy & any helpers!
-
"We had one of our best holidays, it was very comfortable and the dogs were able to walk around the garden exploring safely."
The location is within driving distance to some of the most historic places. The food was excellent at a couple of pubs we visited. I would definitely go back. Thank you for the lovely holiday

"This is how all cottages should be!"
Or my home if I downsize. Clean & comfortable, cared for & easy to live in. Spacious fully equipped kitchen with a good size freezer compartment, large fridge, dishwasher & washing machine. Sitting room was cosy, comfortable & nicely decorated with a dining room overlooking the sheep. The dog was fascinated by the baa’ing. Two nice bedrooms, thank you for a King size bed. Local pub was very friendly, good beers & a fuss was made of our dog, which she endured for a biscuit :) Quiet location but with easy links to Braunston.
-

Well equipped, comfortable and a haven of peace. Would love to return.
-

"Lovely cottage."
Everything supplied bedding/towels/tea towels but we had taken our own kitchen cloths. As wasn’t sure. Beds comfy, sofas great for chilling and the sun room was excellent for breakfast. Would happily revisit.
-

"We absolutely loved this cottage and waking up to see the sheep each morning."
It's located in a beautiful quiet village. Great location to access lots of National Trust properties within 30 minutes as well as nearby canal walk.
-
"Lovely bungalow, nice quiet village."
Secure garden for dog. Would happily rent again.
-
"The cottage was extremely clean, comfortable and well-equipped."
The secure garden was great for our two dogs, and we felt thoroughly at home throughout our stay. The surrounding countryside was beautiful, and we spent a lovely couple of afternoons exploring the nearby Oxford canal and its abundance of locks. A brilliant place to stay for a quiet, relaxing weekend.
-
"A really nice comfortable cottage, with everything you need provided."
A peaceful rural aspect with walks on the doorstep and a secure garden for the dogs was a real bonus. Thanks for a lovely stay!
-
"A fabulous retreat in a beautiful setting ideal to relax and switch off for a few days."
Very dog friendly with an enclosed garden that was very safe and a place to wake up and watch the wildlife, we did see Deer and foxes each day. The cottage is beautiful very comfortable with high quality furnishings that were very new. The open fire was lovely especially during November but the cottage also had a great heating system too. A real home from home is very true. Many lovely walks on your doorstep or a very short drive away such as Daventry country park and Badby woods and the Holly bush inn pub very close walking distance. We also found a local farm shop in Eydon called Dodds manor farm where we bought local steaks and cooked them back at the cottage, delicious! Lucy the owner checked all was good as we arrived and was there if we needed anything but we didn’t had she had also kindly left milk and biscuits for the tea and coffee provided. Amazing cottage and we will definitely be back

"We enjoyed our stay in this quiet, well maintained cottage."
The beds were very comfortable and the cottage was equipped with all the necessary facilities and furniture. I appreciated having good-sized cups for coffee and tea, not the small, shallow cups usually provided! The owner was friendly and welcoming; she kindly lent me a dog lead as I had forgotten to bring one. The dog and I enjoyed our walks through the village and around the area. Unfortunately, she was frightened of the sheep, so we couldn't use the footpath behind the cottage. I would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for somewhere to relax in a quiet location, with plenty to do and see nearby.
-
"The cottage was clean, comfortable and well equipped."
The dogs were safe in the enclosed garden. It was lovely to see the sheep each day. The location was great - short drive to Badby Woods which is a lovely walk. Would highly recommend this lovely property.
-
"The cottage was exactly as described."
Very comfortable, and had all the necessary equipment. The garden was well secured for our two labradors. Location great for our needs. We only used our car once as there was plenty of local walks direct from the door. Beautiful area for a relaxing week away.
-
"Lovely comfortable and quiet location."
Cottage had a very well enclosed garden which was perfect for our 2 cockerpoos. Everything you need provided for a relaxing getaway.
-
"This small cottage is nicely furnished in a quiet location in a beautiful village."
Good outdoor space, with a nice safe garden for our dog.
-
"We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the cottage."
There was plenty of space and the garden was perfect for the dogs.
-
"Perfect short break - cottage was beautiful and immaculate with everything that you needed for a home away from home stay!"
! Location was perfect with short drives for the pups to some great walks and they were kept entertained by the sheep next to the garden!!!
-

Will definitely be back for a longer stay in the future.

"Enjoyed a lovely peaceful break in Grange Cottage."
Very clean, good quality bedding and towels.Well equipped. We loved watching the wildlife from the conservatory we even saw two roe deer on several occasions.Nice walk down to the pub in the village.Plenty of National Trust places to visit and close to Stratford on Avon so a good base to explore Warwickshire.
-
"This was a fab cottage."
Beautifully decorated, spacious, nice garden and comfy beds and furniture. It was slightly odd that we couldn't find a house name indicating where to turn off the road onto the property, but we had checked it out on google maps first, and were able to find our way with no problem. We had a very pleasant stay and will definitely put this on our Happy to Revisit list.
-
"The holiday cottage was spot on."
Couldn't fault it in anyway. The village was perfect with a welcoming pub. Lovely touch by the owners was to leave a Dongle as WiFi was down in the village. Would return to this lovely house and beautiful village again.
-
"Fantastic place to chill ."
Tesco about 15 mins away .. The only minus is the phone reception , its very weak .. Me and my son resorted to walking round the garden to get a signal .. But that`s part of the charm . We could not help laughing at each other .. I only marked the listing down because of this ..
-
"Fantastic place to stay."
Very well equipped. Owner was very communicative but appropriate and didn't bother us at all. Only challenge was finding the entrance the first time (hardly a big deal).
-
"The house is absolutely gorgeous It is decorated to an extremely high standard and is cosy and warm."
