  • "Lovely holiday cottage, on the smaller side but very cosy and comfortable with big beds, super clean and with everything you need for your stay."

Located in what must be one of the nicest villages in England, we really enjoyed the many walks round the village and watching (and playing) cricket on the green.

  • "Just a few things which were able to be sorted out."

We loved the Matchbox and would recommend it highly, also Evenley as a location and beautiful village. Don't miss trying the post office cafe and watching the local cricket team on the Green on a Saturday.

  • "Beautiful cosy cottage , the attention to detail is super!"

The interiors are a delight. It was lovely to read the history of the cottage and to understand the love and hard work that went into updating and restoring it last year. The village is stunningly beautiful and the neighbours so friendly and welcoming. Thank you so much . A fantastic stay and great that your also are dog friendly , would highly recommend.
