Stow Cottage is a charming retreat situated within expansive grounds in Churchill, Oxfordshire, in the heart of the Cotswolds AONB.

With breathtaking views, ample off-road parking, and EV charging, this pet-friendly haven offers some family-friendly facilities, en-suite facilities for each room making it perfect for families or groups of friends seeking a serene escape.

Drive up the sweeping driveway to your new abode.

Upon entering the property through the bootroom leading onto the kitchen/diner, fully equipped with everything you need to prepare delightful meals for your group.

Adjacent to this, you will find the dining room, enjoy your meals at the large formal dining table with regal paintings around and perfect for enjoying breakfast together whilst discussing the day's adventures ahead You can choose between the sitting room or the drawing room, both boasting an open fire and plenty of seating, the ideal spots to unwind after a day of exploring the Cotswolds.

Large windows allow you to take in the stunning countryside views from the comfort of your own home.

The property boasts four beautifully decorated bedrooms, each with its own en-suite facilities.

The first is the Master bedroom with king-size bed, dressing room and an en-suite featuring a freestanding bath, with handheld shower and double basin and WC with amazing views across to Stow on the Wold.

The second is another king-size bedroom with an en-suite with bath, handheld shower, and double basin and WC.

The third king-size bedroom also has an en-suite with a bath, handheld shower, basin and WC.

Finally, the double bedroom comes with an en-suite with a bath, handheld shower, basin and WC.

For added convenience, there is also a cloakroom with a basin and WC, as well as a boot room for storing your outdoor gear.

Outside, you will find a large 15 acre garden with a lawn, furniture, a barbecue, a firepit and it's own arboretum.

This is the perfect space for enjoying alfresco meals, or simply relaxing and taking in the tranquil surroundings. The charming village of Churchill has roots all the way back to the Doomsday Book of 1086 and today is home to a charming, stone-fronted local pub, The Chequers, and a wealth of characterful cottages built using Cotswold stone.

There is also a wealth of walks to be found in the surrounding area, embark on the 5 mile walk of Kingham to Churchill or amble through the countryside to find The Daylesford House Gardens or the Churchill and Sarsden Heritage Centre.

Daylesford Organic Farm shop is within 10 minutes driveaway.

A short car journey will bring you to Chadlington where you will be able to indulge in delicious hamburgers, cool draft beers, lagers, ciders and rosé, and also the interesting cow juice at Diddly Squat Farm! There are a number of gastro pubs within easy driving distance, not forgetting the Farmer's Dog, where you can enjoy a pint of Hawstone Beer!

Venture over to Bourton-on-the-Water, known as the “Venice of the Cotswolds” due to its quaint low bridges riding over the River Windrush, where you can immerse yourself in wildlife at Birdland Park and Gardens and surround yourself with natural beauty at Greystones Farm & Nature Reserve which is home to wildflower meadows and a working organic farm, offering time out from the hustle and bustle of the village centre, this reserve is open to public all year round and is not to be missed. Burford, known as Southern “gateway to the Cotswolds” is perched upon a hill and the high street is lined with charming antique shops, boutique stores, and cafés, here you can visit Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens where you will find over 250 species of animals and be inspired by the beautiful landscaping and seasonal displays throughout the park.
