"I very much enjoyed my stay at the Byre."
The facilities are good with good shower, comfortable double bed, large satellite tv etc. The lane accessing the property (Bind lane) is a bit ropey with plenty of divots and also does not have a road sign but the surrounding countryside is lovely and very scenic.

"The pot holes on Bind Lane need sorting."
I realise this is a council issue but I found it was too painful some days to use. If you want a letter of support I'd be happy to send one. Lovely location, very quite and beautiful views. Some of the rugs didn't help me as I walk with sticks and I had issues accessing the shower.
Thank you for your feedback. The lane is a council road and we have no control over this. We are on hand to help with any issues during your stay and we would have attended the property if needed to assist you. Thank you for your comments about the lovely area that the property is in

We have previously lived in the area and really enjoyed going back to Bridgnorth, a wonderful bustling town with lovely cafes and foodie shops. Worfield village just a couple of miles out of Bridgnorth is well worth looking up, a quintessentially english village, so pretty at Jubilee time....we hope to return

"Quiet rural location."
Cosy, well equipped property with attractive outside space. Problem encountered was dealt with quickly and solved as soon as possible by the Plumber.
Signage to the property off the main road, needs a bit of a tweek. e.g. Pub mentioned is no longer there and the sign mentioned is languishing in the Hedge. However, the rest of the signage mentioning the Farm was fine. The property is accessed by an uneven Farm Road.

there is also easy access to many national Trust properties.
However given Cornoavirus places are not open as they would normally so checking info is important.
The property is on a working farm and is therefore rurally located with a narrow road.

"The cottage was a cosy, quiet hideaway for a couple."
It was well equipped and we had everything we needed. Although on a working farm we felt away from it all. The owners were very helpful and we found plenty to do without driving very far. We found a pleasant walk from the footpath on the farm to the Severn Valley Park, drove to Ironbridge for the museums, visited Dudmaston Hall grounds and Arley Arboretum, explored Brown Clee Hill and a circular walk from Benthall to Ironbridge. Came home feeling relaxed and rested.

"The access to the cottage was down a rough road followed by an unbelievably rough lane."
We made sure we were home before dark as I would not have taken my car along it in the dark. Had I been aware of this access I would certainly not have booked this cottage. It was very remote and had few local amenities. Although the facilities on the whole were good and the overall cleanliness was of a high standard the sofa in the living area was well past it's sell by date and very uncomfortable. The outside seating needs replaced as it would not have enticed you to relax outdoors. The Owners were unfriendly, unhelpful, barely spoke to us on arrival and ignored us for the rest of our stay. This is the first time after numerous stays in cottages that we have had any complaint about the owners. Would we return to The Byre ....NO. Would we recommend anyone to book The Byre ...Only if they were driving a four by four and staying for only a couple of nights.

"Needing somewhere to stay while vising family & friends in Shropshire, I was very lucky to find The Byre."
It was extremely clean and tidy, very comfortable and well equipped, quite the home away from home. No issues with WiFi, though mobile (EE) worked better outside. The property is on a working farm out in the beautiful Shropshire countryside. Plenty of places to visit and see in the area, though own transport is a must. The property owners live down the driveway, but let you have your privacy. However, they are lovely people and were very approachable and helpful in my experience. There are also some very friendly dogs on the farm. I highly recommend The Byre and I certainly hope to stay there again. I had a wonderful time!
