  • "An absolutely lovely dog friendly property in a beautiful location."

Perfect for what we needed, nicely decorated and lovely gardens surrounding it. A tad chilly sometimes as we couldn’t adjust the heating although we used the fire and we found it tricky to work the oven, maybe some instructions? Despite this we would definitely return.

  • "Few points: - property managers were nice people."

    - the heating was not able to be controlled by us and was subject to requesting heating is turned on. Which in a single glazing property this time of year was a bit rubbish. - there was numerous old duvet and pillows stashed around the property. These were old and stained. Not appealing. The actual duvet and pillows on the bed were not in great condition after we stripped the cases from them. - washing machine was full of stagnant water. Property had not been checked prior to our arrival. - no Hoover was provided so we couldn’t easily pick up mud from when returning from walking. - the property had numerous stained carpet and also on the sofa/chairs upon our arrival along with the carpet. Didn’t even appear as though cleaned. - WiFi was poor. - tv was an old model and wasn’t great. - fold down bed was stuck in the dining room. - actual look of the building and location was lovely however the above marred our stay.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. It’s incredibly valuable to gain insight into your experience at the property. While it’s wonderful to hear about positive aspects like the friendly property managers and the appealing location, it’s disappointing to learn about the issues you faced. Regarding your concerns of the heating system, this is controlled from outside as we were finding the guests were leaving on full blast with windows open. I hope you understand this measure and sorry that it inconvenienced you. We accept that there had been some bedding left in error, and this has been swiftly removed. Blue Bell cottage lacks the storage space for a hoover, which is available on request however we have now put one in the kitchen. We have checked the duvets, pillows and bed linen and replaced anything tired with new. Our sheets and pillowcases are all from John Lewis 400 thread count and the duvets are duck feather and down. Regarding the television, it is a smart which is relatively new with Netflix access, and as a rural cottage, we accept our WiFi speeds may differ from those in urban areas. The washing machine has been replaced as it had broken down. We truly appreciate the time you’ve taken to highlight these points, as feedback like yours helps us identify areas that need improvement. Kind regards The Euridge Team Property Owner
