• "A lovely property, situated in a good position for reaching many places of interest."

  It was very well equipped, very clean and very comfortable beds. The garden was fantastic with three different places to sit and eat with a beautiful view. My friends and I like to visit somewhere different every year for our “girls week away” but if we return to this part of the country we wouldn’t hesitate to rent this property.

• "2 Stanley Villas was fantastic, just as described."

  It was spotless, very comfortable and well equipped. The garden has several seating areas and as we were very lucky with the weather we took advantage of them. Apart from some noise from the road it’s an idyllic setting. One evening we were visited by a young deer. There is a bus stop a few minutes walk away, taking you into Hereford in about 15 minutes. There is a lovely coffee shop just 2 minutes walk away it also has lots of lovely homeware items to buy. We would definitely recommend the property and would like to thank the owner for the chocolate cake and milk and for leaving out the bus timetable as I asked about buses when she phoned just before our visit

• "The cottage is lovely and seemed bigger than we had anticipated."

  Furnishings are of a high standards and the kitchen was well equipped. It was good to have safe, off the road parking. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side so we didn’t get to experience the lovely garden but we did enjoy watching the rabbits every evening.

• "We enjoyed our stay at 2 Stanley Villas so much!"

  We were extremely lucky to be able to spend all week in the garden because of the fabulous weather. The location is very good, very close to Hereford and although situated on a road, we didn't hear a lot of noise inside the cottage or in the garden at all. We found the cottage extremely clean and everything in perfect condition. Good beds, two bathrooms, three toilets and a fully equipped kitchen. I really couldn't name anything to improve, I would absolutely recommend this cottage to everyone. I even mentioned to my husband that we'd better not return to England because the cottage and sunny weather can never be beaten on any next trip. Do book this cottage and you will not be disappointed. Also loads to do in the area and many nice places to eat.

• "A lovely, modern and homely house, with the most breathtaking view south across a lovely lawn."

  Instantly relaxing the moment you walk through the door, it is a very short drive to the centre of Hereford. It is an even shorter drive (the other way) to one of the nicest family friendly pubs in the area - The Bunch of Carrots.

• "The holiday home was brilliant and just as advertised."

  The house was clean and tidy and we appreciated the little extras like tea, coffee, hand soap and dishwasher tablets. The house was in a really convenient position to get into Hereford yet still felt like it was in the countryside and we particularly loved the garden. We would definitely visit again.

• "We arrived and found the holiday home exactly as advertised, beautifully furnished and everything gleaming and a very well appointed kitchen with every gadget you could need."

  The garden and its different seating areas was in excellent condition and very private and safe for our grandson. We also met our lovely host Belinda and found a lovely welcome pack of goodies in the kitchen. We especially liked the tourist information pack and a very good welcome brochure recommending places to eat as well as essential information. We stayed 2 weeks in total comfort and Stanley Villias was in the perfect location to take advantage of all the lovely places to visit in the surrounding area. We highly recommend No 2 Stanley Villa as the perfect place to stay to explore Hereford and beyond and to return home to relax in comfort. There were absolutely no negatives about this lovely holiday let and we completely understand why Sykes customers keep returning to this property. Extremely warm welcome from the hosts, a high end finish holiday home in a beautiful and tranquil position. We are delighted to say we will return too.

• "This is the best Sykes property that we have ever stayed in."

  All the facilities were excellent and the property was immaculately clean. The garden was a special facility (and the rabbits were an additional entertainment). It was convenient for Hereford and the owners recommendation for the local pub was accurate. We will stay again.

• "Our holiday at Stanley Villas, was lovely."

  The place is very clean and nicely furnished. The owners go the extra mile to make sure you have what you need. Belinda explained the walking route across the fields, to the local pub(took 40 mins at a slow pace) We felt home from home and very relaxed here. We hope to return.

• "This was a well appointed, very comfortable and clean house in a good location for sightseeing and visiting friends."

  Little extra touches like milk in the fridge, tea, coffee and cake plus a good selection of DVD’s to keep us entertained in the evening meant the owners had put extra thought into making their rental property a great place to stay. We would recommend Stanley Villas as a great place to stay.

• "This was just what we wanted - a base for our family, coming and going according to events, concerts and work during the Three Choirs Festival in Hereford."

  The villa was well-equipped in every way -a welcome cake and milk, condiments, dish washer and washing machine tablets, rubbish bags and basic instructions for everything. We really enjoyed the garden and ate out most days. There was such a lovely atmosphere when the fairy lights came on in the evenings. Thank you

  The only area that I think would benefit from some attention is exiting the drive on to the road. Visibility is limited and considering the speed of traffic it makes it difficult to drive out.

  Situated right on the edge of the city, this 3 bedroomed house has spacious, well equipped rooms and a large, well maintained garden with a choice of 3 different seating areas, looking out over the surrounding hills and countryside. There was ample space parking up to 3 cars. Home from home!

  Would I book again? Are there plenty of places of interest in Herefordshire? YES YES YES. The hosts Belinda & Ian have made a beautiful & comfortable holiday home. It was so much appreciated getting a welcome phone call from Belinda just before our due arrival time. It is clear how much hard work went into refurbishing this house and keeping it maintained & spotlessly clean. Great location also for getting into Hereford and also visiting the multitude of places to see and visit, in both Herefordshire and surrounding counties of England & Wales.

• "We really enjoyed our week in this lovely cottage, the house was perfect and nicely done, it is very comfortable and had all the facilities available that we needed."

  Absolutely delightful garden , we so enjoyed sitting in it , there are lots of lovely areas to sit in and enjoy the sunshine, we also had a barbecue! The area is lovely and lots of things to do and visit, we were there to visit family but also had the opportunity to visit Ledbury, Hay on wye and a few other places near by. It was a perfect holiday.

• "We really enjoyed our stay at 2 Stanley Villas."

  It was comfortable with a lovely big kitchen diner, cosy sitting room and three good bedrooms. The garden is large with plenty of seating places - I enjoyed sitting at the far end of the garden at the picnic table with the lovely view over the fields. Generally the kitchen was very well equipped, but there was no sieve and it would have been useful to have another chopping board or bread board.

  Spotlessly clean, high quality funishings and appliances, and everything worked perfectly. Lot of nice touches, like tea and coffee, a cake, milk, which where things we bought locally, not thinking they would be supplied. The location is perfect, out of the countryside but close enough that we could walk into Hereford. It's my second holiday in Hereford and I would definitely recommend your site and this property to friends and relatives. Thank you so much!
