  • "Need to put a few chairs in there and a proper trash bin to put all the rubbish in it ."

Few more cups only 2 in there some thing in the shower cubicle to put shower gel etc in there . a little rail of some sort . A fan in there as it was very Hot .

Thanks for choosing Thames Retreat. There is already a sofa provided and adding chairs wouldn't make it as spacious. The trash bins were full from the previous guest but were fully emptied, by private waste collection, during your stay. Also, additional dinner plates were provided to you during your stay based on your feedback. This is a flat for 2, so 2 cups, wine glasses, regular glasses etc have been provided on that basis. A chrome corner tray has been provided in the shower. Also, if you had mentioned the fan earlier, we could have provided it to you during your stay. It was 29 C during your stay so I can understand that opening the windows can only cool it down so much. Property Owner

  • "A great deal of thought has obviously gone into this extremely quirky little bedsit."

Except for the lawned area which does require mowing, the on-line photos are quite accurate, the sofa and bed are comfortable and the bed linen and towels are of very good quality. The new fixtures and fittings are also of very good quality, it is a shame tho' that some of the smaller details (eg a toilet seat that actually fits the toilet) have been overlooked. The property has great potential but is obviously still a 'work in progress' when not let out. However, all kudos to the contact, Lu who was charming and did her very best to help with the couple of problems we encountered during our booked 4 night stay. Unfortunately for us, the area was just a little too noisy and we came home a day early.

Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback. The lawn is mowed every 2 weeks and perhaps grew a bit faster in the peak of the summer. It has since been taken care of along with adding a new toilet seat. Thank you for choosing Thames Retreat. Property Owner
