  • "11 Victoria cottages was a lovely place to stay."

Me and my friend have stayed in a few places, and this has been the nicest. The only problem we had there was not enough information about the rubbish collection. When we arrived the bin was full, until the day we left. And there wasn't any up to date information on recycling.

New bins now in place. Thank you for letting us know. Property Owner

  • "This delightful cottage is right in town, walkable to all sights, services, and public transportation."

It was quiet inside, despite being on a busy road. All is in place for a comfortable stay, and the owner and her son were very helpful to me in answering questions. The beds are comfortable, and the shower is great! The one suggestion I would have, for us shorter folk, would be a footstool for the upper shelves, wall hooks and other unreachable places! Thank you, Kathy, for a wonderful stay. I hope to return in the not-too-distant future. Sylvia

Thank you Sylvia. We hope you visit us again! Property Owner

  • "Lovely cottage, ideal for a walk to the town centre."

I have limited mobility due to an operation and the walk was fine. Ideal location for visiting the butterfly farm. The kitchen was well equipped and the Shower in the bathroom was a good pressure. The heating was easy to operate. The double bed in the main bedroom was very comfy, memory foam. The bed in the single room wasn't as comfy. No problem with parking and found the surrounding area was quiet and we were not disturbed by noise. Would definitely recommend

My only very minor criticism would be there was no two pronged shaver socket in the bathroom. It did not effect the vacation at all.

  • "11 Victoria Cottages is situated in a great position with easy access to the town center and all its amenities."

There are pubs and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. The river and boat hire are right on its doorstep and there are lovely walks along its banks in both directions. The cottage itself is all you need with good facilities and comfortable beds. The kitchen is well equipped and the shower is excellent. It has a cozy living room with comfortable leather recliners. We had a great time.

  • "This house is in an excellent position for very quick walking access to the river and Stratford town centre with an abundance of shops, cafes and restaurants."

As a 3-person max property I would have thought a dishwasher rather than auto washer in the small kitchen would have suited a greater number of people. Very enjoyable week - we were out cycling everyday.

  • "A wonderful cottage, close to Stratford-Upon-Avon centre and all attractions."

Wonderfully clean and comfortable accommodation. Easy to find and the bonus of parking in the hotel, we did not encounter any problems whatsoever. The weather was kind to us most days and we sat in the sunny garden after our return from trips, for an evening drink, before going out for dinner at the terrific local restaurants. Everything in the cottage was clean and the bed comfortable, terrific shower and plenty of towels. One chilly evening the central heating made it very cosy. A lovely week, Thank you.

  • "Perfect location."

Clean and cosy. However, single bed in second bedroom is uncomfortable and not good for people with back problems.

  • "The cottage was in a great location, close enough to walk to the town centre and all of the local attractions."

Though near a busy road it was very quiet. Very cosy accommodation but with everything you needed for a relaxing break. Wi Fi was an added bonus as was parking at the nearby hotel for those who need it. (We didn't use this option as we decided not to bring the car but took the train.) A nice touch was the coffee/tea/sugar and milk and Chocolate Chip Cookies waiting for us on our arrival. All in all, a lovely property available at a great price. I would thoroughly recommend it. 10 out of 10.

Like the location, comfort and facilities it provides. Lovely cottage, with a touch of nostalgia and quaintness about it. Great location, and access to local amenities and places of interest is easy. Highly recommended. It appears that the cottage had recently been decorated and this adds to its charm and uniqueness. • "A lovely cottage, clean and cosy, with all requirements catered for."

Superb location near the centre of the town and the parking arrangement worked well. Very well furnished with great attention to detail. The owners have made this property feel 'very homely'. An excellent base for a week or a short break. Within easy reach of the many attractions of Warwickshire and the Cotswolds. Smoke alarm battery needed replacement. The warnings 'pips' from the alarm kept us awake on our final night. Probably a good idea to replace these batteries annually to avoid disturbance. It may seem obvious but please can you mention in the cottage details that the hotel car park parking permit is available in the cottage. We parked before the 3.00pm arrival time and went to the Hotel Reception and were told there were no permits and we would have to pay £5 a night to park.
