It is in a fantastic location being just a short walk from the town centre but also quiet and peaceful. The outside space next to the canal is a lovely spot to sit and watch life on the water - we were very lucky with the weather so were able to take advantage of everything that the accommodation has to offer. Owners Mark and Vicki are very friendly and helpful - we are looking forward to a return visit to lovely Stratford upon Avon.

Easy walk to pubs, shops and restaurants. Ideally placed for the river, Stratford Eye and a ten minute walk to the old town. Sightseeing bus route starts from the end of the street. Despite the central location, very quiet street and car parking space is right beside the flat. Owner/manager was very responsive to messages. Bathroom ceiling needs a lick of paint but otherwise, the flat was neat as a pin.

Another pleasant stay, excellent location for access to Stratford.Well maintained and clean and comfortable. Our only comment for improvement is a very minor one but nonetheless would make it perfect:the mirrors in both the bathroom and the main bedroom could be improved .The one in the bathroom is on the window ledge and above eye level so it makes it difficult to use,a mirror on the wall(perhaps one that is retractable)would be better. The mirror in the bedroom is too small and doesn’t stay at an usable angle,so again a bigger one woukd be better. By far one of the nicest and most convenient we have stayed in .The accomodation was lovely, access with key code was simple and convenient it was very clean with plenty of room for 2/4 adults Items in cupboards e.g washing up liquid ,dishwasher and washing machine tablets supplied as well as milk ,tea , coffee and plenty of books, dvds or games to get you settled in .Comfy beds and plenty of hot water for showers and the wifi worked perfectly when needed. The central heating was simple to control so never cold .The property is situated right on the canal so feeding ducks and swans daily and watching the barges float by was a real treat. Bancroft Place is only a 5 minutes walk into the beautiful town where there is plenty of choice of restaurants and small independant shops to visit and historic sites too.Parking on site is a real bonus for 1 vehicle, but opposite is a large secure car park that charges £10 for 24 hours if you have visitors like we did..There is a Tesco,Marks and Spencer and Sainsburys only 5 minutes away for food shopping if needed .
