The owners are very friendly and extremely accommodating. We wanted somewhere quiet and that is exactly what we got. We could hear owls at night and nothing else. The Cottage itself was was stocked with everything you could need. The bed and sofa were extremely comfortable and although we had our 3 dogs with us we had plenty of space. If you're looking for a huge mansion in a town centre then this isn't for you but if you want a quiet retreat where you can relax then the Nook is perfect. I would recommend the Nook to any couple wanting to get away from everything.

only one or two things could have been a little better but these did not impact our stay very much. first a few tea bags coffee and coffee powder would have gone down well not a box or any thing just a few to settle in (shops are not close) on first impression the place was very neat and tidy but there was old food under the sofa that our dog found. but altogether we had a fabulous time

Thank for your feedback. We are glad that you had a fabulous stay. I just wanted to let you know that I pull the sofa our after every visit and hoover. On this occasion there must have been a stray biscuit and I do apologise for this oversight. As our cottage is self catering, we don’t leave tea bags and many people bring their own. Thank you once again for your comments. We do hope to see you again in the future. Property Owner

Kept in touch (via text) with ‘Jan’, and whilst she was never intrusive or overbearing at all, she readily answered any query I had. Enjoyed talking to the resident ponies ‘Dynamite’ and ‘Tyson’ each morning and it was lovely to be able to give them their banana ‘treat’ at the start of the day. Thanks to Jan and family.

We will definitely return. There were walks we could do directly from the property, but there is also so much to explore nearby.
