  • "Every single thing we could have wanted or needed was at hand for our use."

Extremely impressed with the everyday items that were available to us. i.e kitchen roll, tin foil, cling film, dish washer tablets etc. no need for us to go out and top with anything. The hot tub was amazing too. (We always book a place with hot tub) plenty of firewood for the log burner too! There was only one tiny thing that was overlooked (sorry) salt and pepper needed filling up although I just had enough

  • "Such a great property!"

We came here for our mini-moon after we got married end of March, start of April. On arrival we found some tasty basics and delicious brownies from their farm shop. It was clean and tidy on arrival with clear instructions on how to use the hot tub and the house rules. Loved the section in the folder about activities and recommendations! And the bed was so comfortable with fluffy pillows. We found lots of local actives to do including dinner at Buckland Manor, cinema with dinner at The Regal Evesham to watch Dune Part 2, and The Lygon Arms Hotel and Spa for a Spa Day. But really enjoyed spending our time at Parlour Barn as well, with the hot tub, DVD options, and lighting the fire with some of the firewood provided. Unfortunately it was pouring with rain during our stay so wasn't able to try out the walks that were shown in the folder provided. The only thing that didn't make this perfect was the sofa because it has clearly aged and is peeling so blankets were provided to cover it but kept slipping when we put the recliner out. So all in all, highly recommend!! Such a fantastic place can't wait to visit again, want to also thank our hosts for being so kind and helpful during our stay and also allowing me to return to collect my left belongings after!

The hot hub was extremely clean, and a great way to end the day. We made use of the wood burner each day, with plenty of wood available, which Roger even topped up for us later in the week as we got through quite a bit! The welcome goodies were delicious and very well received. We enjoyed getting out and about in the surrounding area and would like to stay here again when we next come back to the area.

  • "Absolutely excellent!"

! My husband and I have just spent a week here and couldn't have been happier with the experience. The barn is spacious, well maintained and extremely clean. Our hosts provided a welcome pack of freshly made sourdough bread, chocolate brownies, apple juice and home made apple chutney (particularly awesome!!) which was greatly appreciated after our long drive. The shower is a good size, powerful with plenty of hot water and very clean. The bed was a good size and we found it comfy and not too firm. The kitchen again was very clean and provided all we needed as we made our own evening meals most days. We used the hot tub every day after a day exploring the local area and it was great. The recline facility on the sofa provided the ideal way to end the day. The central location made it easy to visit Worcester, Warwick, Chelteham and Glouscester.

I’d definitely recommend Parlour Barn to anyone who wants a quiet peaceful holiday.

  • "An absolutely lovely cottage in a quiet and peaceful setting."

It had everything we needed and more and it was all of good quality. The bed was so comfortable, we slept really well. The items in the welcome package were delicious and very well received. We loved the hot tub and sitting in it of an evening sky gazing was heaven. We had an issue just before we started the holiday and then another whilst we were away, neither in any way related to the accommodation, but Sue was wonderful in helping us deal with them and coming up with a way of potentially managing them. She was understanding and flexible, it was much appreciated. I can't recommend the cottage enough and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we were in the area.

The cottage was clean and hot tub and garden area was clean and so lovely to have a break but feel safe in these strange times with covid. There were lovely welcome gifts left which were perfect. As a couple who holiday only in the UK, and often take short breaks without our 3 children for a bit of relaxation this cottage was one of the best, if not the best we have visited. Thank you.
