The owners, Sally and Steve are warm, welcoming and friendly and the fresh eggs, milk, bread, butter and cakes when we arrived were a lovely touch. The pictures don’t do the place justice- there were lots of WOWs when we first walked in! Despite most of the week being wet and miserable, we had an amazing and relaxing stay with lots of time in the hot tub. Lovely location so peaceful and quiet Its a pity that the view from inside the cottage is minimal because of the small window and door Only negative was the bed which we found uncomfortable as we could feel every spring Everything else was fine and we really enjoyed the Malvern show and surrounding area

Hi Sue and Jerry, Thanks for your feedback. We can only apologise for the uncomfortable bed - we had absolutely no idea and are thankful to you for bringing it to our attention. The bed and mattress have now been replaced. Regrettably, we cannot change the door or windows in the Croft due to planning restrictions. Property Owner

Others have said it but it's true - the pictures don't do it justice. Gorgeous setting and the space for our dog was brilliant and much appreciated. Everything is of the highest quality at the Croft. Easily the best place we've stayed. Sally and Steve are lovely hosts and on hand but the Croft is still very private. Shop, pub and takeaway 5mins in car and no distance at all to Malvern. As soon as we have dates sorted, we'll be booking for next year (but with less rain please!).

! I feel exactly the same, Sally and Steve are incredibly genuine people, who are prepared to help with anything and everything, and at the same time they never intrude, we were fortunate to be there when the Farmers Market was taking place, highly recommended, little bits of everything. In honesty the pictures do not do the place justice, it really is a very very special place, long walks round the lake and through the woods, ideal if you have a Dog, also a separate field which is closed off so any Dog can run free, will we go back, try and stop us !!!!! If you stock up on food you really do not have to leave the Croft, as it is based for some really nice walks.

  • "The perfect break!"

What a little gem of a property. Myself, my wife and our little dog stayed at The Croft to celebrate our 1st year wedding anniversary. The house is surrounded by areas of outstanding natural beauty which made great walks, with a welcome stop at a local pub for lunch. Malvern hills, wye valley and Cotswolds wildlife park and Zoo were just a few of the highlights. The house itself was absolutely outstanding. The level of care when we arrived shone through (from little chocolates by the bed and milk in the fridge to an anniversary card). The owners live next door and are the kindest loveliest people you could ever wish to meet! They do not intrude on your holiday at all. The grounds surrounding the house are quite difficult to put into words - a private forest, pond/lake and wonderful farm animals. Our little dog was really in his element here and we were too! The hot tub was a welcome way to end the day. Highly recommend staying here! It is a great place to unwind. We also purchased some lovely meat from the owners farm which is absolutely delicious. Thank you Sally and Steve!

Thanks so much to our wonderful hosts who made us so very welcome and shared this wonderful spot with us. Really appreciated the use of an empty paddock for some off lead fun for the pup. There are great walks using local footpaths, or jump in the car for a short drive for hilltop or riverside walks. Local pubs in area are excellent and so is the local Chinese takeaway if you don't feel like cooking. Highly recommend this area and The Croft.

Hi Philip, So sorry to hear that you would not return due to our having dogs. Your wife did inform us on your arrival that you are terrified of dogs due to a bite suffered when you were a child. Our dogs are very well trained and socialised with other dogs, people and children (we have 4 grandchildren under 6 yrs). They are never unsupervised on our farm at any time. You are the first to comment about our dogs in the 2 years we have been in business. We feel we must defend our position as already we have received calls from future guests concerned about your comments as it does suggest our German Shepherds (Woody aged 10, Taggie 3 and Peggy 12) are a problem which they certainly are not.
