"The property was as advertised, but the ground floor had a nasty smell the whole time we were there (not the smell from the cows)."
The garden furniture was filthy and unusable. The beams were thick with dust and spiders. The back of our car was damaged by one of the farm vehicles. On a positive note, the directions to the farm were excellent.
Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback following your stay at Bluebell Cottage Farm Stay, although I was a little disappointed to hear your comments as they do not align with our usual excellent feedback. We only live next door to the property, and if you had made us aware of any issues during your stay we would have endeavoured to help. After your stay we did check the property regarding the smell, but could not detect anything out of the ordinary, other guests have also not made any comments regarding this. The outside furniture for the guests to use was bought last year and is in great condition, we suspect you were in the owner's area where some older furniture is stored, and it is not intended for guests' use. In your feedback you mention your car was damaged, we take great care in making sure we provide a parking area for our guests that is well away from machinery, you may have been parked in the wrong area, again we were not made aware of any problems during your stay. "A comfortable farm cottage with a lovely view to distant hills from the front door."
Tucked away off the main road the cottage is in a quiet peaceful spot and we had a tranquil weekend. There are lots of lovely places to visit locally; an entire day could be spent at Brockhampton (NT) where there are lots of walks, activities, a cafe and an interesting 15th C Manor House to look round.

Would definitely stay there again.
-
"The cottage was comfortable and well maintained."
The owners were welcoming and had left helpful information in the cottage relating to local restaurants and attractions. I would recommend the property for an extended weekend break.

"Very nice cottage in a lovely area."
We really enjoyed our stay on the farm.

"We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at Bluebell Cottage."
It was extremely quiet and the bedrooms were comfortable, and we had everything we needed in the kitchen/living room. Tim the farmer was very friendly, as were the two farm dogs, and we enjoyed seeing birds and rabbits in the garden and farmyard. It was a very good base for trips around the region.

"We enjoyed a thouroughly relaxing and comfortable stay, for a week, at Bluebell Cottage."
Tim and Karen made us very welcome and were available if we needed further advice and help in any way. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend as a base for local touring around.

"What a wonderful place to stay."
So peaceful and just what we needed, lots of places nearby to visit. Owners very helpful in pointing us in the direction of places to visit.

"My Daughter and I really enjoyed our stay."
Everything we needed was to hand. Really cosy cottage with comfortable beds. Brilliant to have underfloor heating downstairs as weather wasn't great. Beautiful surroundings. Thank you for a lovely welcome and our Easter eggs!
-
"Excellent cottage."
We enjoyed our week at Bluebell Cottage including looking over the farm with Tim. Plenty of good places nearby for walking and visits and many good pubs within a few miles, especially in Bromyard..

"Karen en Tim are very friendly and hospitable!"
The cottage was lovely and well equiped. The bedrooms (2!) were spacious and everything was very clean. The information about the cottage (being on a working farm, which can give some noise when machinery arrives or leaves and not being close to pubs or shops) was correct, but the noise did not bother us. Although the cottage has two bedrooms I would not advice it for more than two people as the living area and sofa are not very large. We had a great time there!
Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback, we are in a beautiful rural location, but there are 2 pubs within 2 miles of Bluebell Cottage Farm Stay, there is also a vending machine business close by providing Milk, Bread, cheese, and lots of other tasty treats and essentials. It was lovely meeting you and hope to welcome you again in the future. Property Owner

Tim and Karen made us feel most welcome. Malcolm

"Another lovely stay at Bluebell Cottage."
-
"The cottage is well equipped for self catering, the fridge has no freezer department so making ice or keeping any frozen food is not possible."
The farm is quite remote so on the positive apart from farm machinery it is very peaceful (the noise of the farm did not spoil anything for us) however it is quite remote from any shop about 4 miles to the nearest so be prepared with all you need, picking up things from the shop is no bother on your way out but a pain if you get back and have forgotten something you can just stroll down to a village store. The farmer and his wife are very friendly and left us a welcome pack which was much appreciated.

"This has been a wonderful week on a working farm just what we were looking for."
We received a warm welcome from the farmer and his wife who made sure we were comfortable all week. The cottage was perfect for us with all we needed. We learnt so much on our tour of the farm from the state of the art milking shed where the cows are free to roam to feeding the pigmy goats my grand daughter and 4 year old great grandson were in their element. There was new places to visit every day the whole experience was excellent And if you are looking for a rural holiday in the countryside and understand a working farm then I can recommend this holiday. Thank you Tim and Karen for all your time and we will definitely be visiting again

"A warm and friendly welcome awaited us at Bluebell Cottage on Nicholson Farm."
Fresh flowers, tea and coffee, biscuits and milk were all thoughtfully provided in this lovely old cottage on a working dairy farm. The cottage was spotlessly clean and comfortable and we enjoyed a wonderful week. We enjoyed hearing about the history of the farm and taking a guided tour around the milking facilities. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. We look forward to staying here again.

"Nice relaxing break lots to do in the area friendly hosts."
Would go back again. Slept exceedingly well and returned home refreshed.

"The Cottage is in the heart of a working Farm, hence anyone staying there must expect some noise from Tractors and animals."
Tim and Karen are lovely hosts, and keen to make guests comfortable and welcome. Excellent views and walks in the surrounding countryside from this location.
