A beautiful Grade II listed watermill set in the expansive grounds of the owner's home located in the heart of the stunning Worcestershire countryside, 0.75 miles from the village of Grafton Flyford.

This delightful property is superbly furnished throughout and provides unique accommodation, ideal for a romantic break or a get together with friends.

Set over three floors, this characterful property offers lovely views over the grounds of the owner’s home, complete with extensive duck ponds and a number of birdlife.

Enter through the stable door and follow the hallway into a charming and well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast area that is complete with original mill-workings and a beamed ceiling, you could not ask for a more unique and welcoming environment in which to enjoy a morning cup of tea.

Make your way up the wooden staircase to a bright and cheery sitting room with sumptuous sofas, ideal for relaxing after a day exploring the beautiful local area.

A further staircase will take you to the delightful bedrooms, both with wall and ceiling beams, and a wonderful shower room.

Outside, guests are welcome to take a peaceful stroll around the expansive grounds, or sit and relax with a refreshing drink whilst watching the wildlife; with a bit of luck you’ll spot an owl or a kingfisher.

A twelve minute walk will take you to Grafton Flyford, a superb Worcestershire village with Millennium Way and Wychavon Way passing close to the village making it perfect for those who enjoy cycling in beautiful surroundings.

There are also plenty of other delightful market towns and pretty villages to explore, such as Pershore with its excellent abbey and interesting Georgian architecture.

Warwick’s superb castle is well worth and a visit and lies within easy driving distance of this lovely cottage, as does Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare.

Also the city of Worcester with its wonderful cathedral and plenty of charm and character is within reach.

GRAFTON FLYFORD

Pershore 7 miles; Worcester 9 miles; Evesham 12 miles; Stratford-upon-Avon 17 miles.

Grafton Flyford is a pretty Worcestershire village situated in open countryside typifying rural England. Supposedly used as a model for Radio 4's The Archers, this lovely area offers many walks in all directions with the Millennium Way and Wychavon Way passing close by. Visit Grafton Wood Nature Reserve, a SSSI boasting many rare species and idyllic walks. Nearby, Flyford Flavell has a pub and the surrounding countryside is a wonder to explore, famous for its fruit growing, and brimming with a fascinating history. Also nearby Bredon Hill is home to an Iron Age Fort, Roman ramparts and numerous ancient standing stones. The picturesque market town of Pershore, settled beside the River Avon, boasts a Norman abbey, delightful Georgian architecture and an excellent range of shops, cafes and restaurants. Evesham is an historic market town with independent shops and eateries, Droitwich Spa, with Britain's only natural brine spa, and Broadway, reputedly the most beautiful village in England with its honey coloured stone cottages are all only a short drive away, and also within reach are the Malvern Hills offering stunning views and walks suitable for most abilities. Many unspoilt Cotswold towns and villages are close by as well, not to mention Warwick with its imposing medieval castle, Stratford-upon-Avon, the home of William Shakespeare and Worcester, a charming riverside city. Worcester is known for its beautiful cathedral with its Royal tombs and medieval cloisters, and the city is full of history and architecture and includes the Guild Hall, which dates back to 1721, Friar Street with its independent boutiques and restaurants, as well as a medieval townhouse, and the 16th century Tudor House. Also the River Severn runs through Worcester and offers a number of activities, including boat trips and walks and cycle rides along the banks. Grafton Flyford is an ideal base for exploring all that Worcestershire has to offer.
