  • "Fantastic property."

We found it perfect for two couples. Comfortable and well equipped. Good view of the pond and the bird life. Great communication from Natalie.

Many thanks for your super review, very happy to see you enjoyed your stay. Best wishes Natalie Property Owner

  • "Everything generally perfect."

Location and view from property fantastic. So peaceful. Accommodation very homely and individual. A couple of minor details. Torch provided did not work. Lighter provided for barbecue did not work so maybe a little extra care by housekeeping. Otherwise everything excellent, we would stay there again.

Many thanks for your comments, I have popped a new lighter in The Leat for the bbq, as I can see the igniter is failing to work, and also added a new battery to the torch. Many thanks for this feedback, it’s greatly appreciated. Many thanks Natalie Property Owner

  • "Very welcoming, helpful hostess."

Thoroughly recommended. Natalie and Max have given a lot of thought and attention to both the barn conversion and local landscape. Immaculate, attractive and extremely well-fitted out accommodation. The setting is simply beautiful with a view of a small lake surrounded by trees and flowers which attract many varieties of birds- binoculars provided! (It would be a bonus to have some access to the lake if this could be achieved without trespassing on the family's privacy.)

Thank you for your wonderful feedback, it’s very pleasing to read your wonderful comments and I am pleased the binoculars are useful! Lake access would be nice for guests, but sadly we can’t provide this, as we do like to keep our side of the completely private, so I am very sorry about this, but you do have great views, like you say. Kind regards Natalie Property Owner

  • "Lovely accommodation with a beautiful view over the pond."

It was great to watch the wildlife - the ducks and geese as well as the birds. Sadly didn’t see the kingfisher or otter. The Leat was a great spot to explore the countryside and National Trust places nearby and to visit the Malvern Spring Show. Natalie was very friendly and helpful with any questions/comments we raised.

A lovely spot to forget about the world and relax. Peaceful and tranquil, just the birds to listen to. A lovely lodge to say in, made even better as other family members booked next door to make it a big family holiday. Hanbury Hall, Warwick Castle and Stratford upon Avon all worth a visit.

Hello again and thank you for returning, super pleased your friends enjoyed the next door Barn, so you could all be together, but separately. The surrounding area is superb for attractions, we hope to see you here again for a peaceful and tranquil staycation. Super feedback, thank you Natalie Property Owner

  • "Nice location looking at the pond but the showers were luke warm, and the owners dogs used the grass in front of the pond as a toilet."

Thank you for your feedback, we tested your showers during your stay and we couldn’t find a problem, and have not had any issue regarding hot water from any guests since your stay. Possibly an operator error. The dogs are cleared up after daily, unfortunately, our private garden extends to in front of the decking area and it’s out of our control, but I can assure you it is vigorously monitored as I am at home 24/7 with my scoop. The view from the lounge over the mill pond is lovely. We saw a buzzard, ducks, moorhens, a pair of Canada geese and a heron, not to mention plenty of small birds including a grey wagtail. There were feeders to encourage the birds. Lovely to sit on the deck and listen to the birdsong. The accomodation was thoughtfully laid out and the fittings high quality. We loved the comfortable beds and the large showers!

(They’re the other side of the fence if you’re not a dog person.) Just what we needed. The interior finish was high quality, it was clean and well appointed. We’d definitely return.

The cottage was beautifully built with all of the modern facilities in a lovely location. 10/10 for us although the only two things we would change is softer pillows and some sort of sound proofing as we could hear the people next door very clearly. We would certainly visit the cottage again and I hope there is plans for a hot tub, plenty of room on the decking ;).

Thank you for your feedback, i am soon to close, to have acoustic sound proofing popped into the Barns, together with more insulation into the roof space, this will hopefully help! Pillows have been replaced too ! Property Owner

The beds were very comfortable and the cotton bedding made for a great night's sleep. The views of the millpond gave constant entertainment, the birds, ducks and the heron make a natural show ! As there is an identical property adjoining there are occasionally "noises off" as you would expect but nothing too obtrusive. There was enough in the way of restaurants , pubs and towns within a few miles drive through the Worcestershire country side to fill our days. If you are wanting a quiet and peaceful time in a beautiful part of the English country side the Leat is perfect.

5 tog winter duvet was provided, which was far too hot for August. Was unclear if residents were able to use outdoor space adjacent to pond, if so would be useful if that area was mown. Great property otherwise, lovely quiet area.

Thank you for your comments, The field adjacent to the property is private and isn't mown in the summer months, as we have created a natural wildlife habitat next to our pond. I will also investigate lighter bedding, Sykes steered us into only having one set of 10.5 tog, but maybe it needs addressing if you were too hot. Thankyou for your feedback, it's much appreciated. The Leat was clean, modern and well equipped. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and much appreciated, thank you. The bedding was lovely and gave the beds a hotel feel! The Leat was listed as pet free but my husband experienced an allergic reaction as if there had been pets/pet owners in the property. We also noticed that the adjoining property had 2 dogs staying despite also being listed as pet free. The King bedroom was adjoined to the the other property. Unfortunately for us, our neighbours enjoyed a 6:30/7:00am start each morning and we could hear their voices and movements which was unfortunate as the Leat is in a beautiful remote location and we hoped for a little more peace in the mornings.

Thank you for your feedback. Pleased that you enjoyed your time at The Leat. The properties are pet free. The booking in the neighbouring property was family staying prior to be opened up for guests to book. The adjoining door in the King Room connects to the twin room in the same dwelling. Thank you again for your feedback and hopefully we will welcome you back again soon. Property Owner
