Lovely barn conversion. Lovely owners who live on site and are there to help/answer any questions and come over and say hello. Beds lovely and comfy. Very clean considering there was mud every where outside! One thing we did think would be a good idea some sort of boot store outside due to the mud! But we used to just sweep and use the brush and pan to get rid of the surface dirt to stop it walking into the bedrooms but that's us. Overall defo 5 Star

  • "Monarch barn is set in beautiful countryside in a quiet and peaceful location."

If you have a dog it’s perfect as there is direct access to plenty of open fields behind the barn and a footpath leads from the front of the property. The barn is very clean, comfortable and has everything you’ll need for your stay. The local cafe is excellent for breakfast and the nearby farm shop has a great selection of plants at very reasonable prices, so worth a visit if you need to stock your garden. If you enjoy walking I can recommend the Abberley circular walk and Hartlebury Common. We enjoyed lunch after our walk on the common at Hartlebuy Castle. We particularly liked the welcome pack Sally provided, which had lovely, personal touches. Sally was very welcoming and replied very quickly to my emails when I had a couple of questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Monarch barn.

Sally is a great host, very welcoming and knowledgeable with suggestions for places to visit. Was invited to and attended the village fare and met other people from the village. Lots of space to utilise outside with blackberries, damsons, sloes and crackers apples all growing wild, I had to remind myself I am not a jam maker...The property itself is lovely and of a very high standard, with comfortable beds with great sheets, great showers, brilliant wi-fi and comfy sofas. I can't recommend it highly enough and am already planning a next visit. I recommend this accommodation highly and without reservation.

The surrounding fields were great for our dog all accessible straight out the door, very peaceful.
