Heating not acceptable , winter in NI and couldn't leave on all day or for longer than 1 hour. Very disappointed with Irish hospitality / lack of it .

  • "Lovely cottage, a short drive away from Bushmill’s which gives you everything you need."

Great location for exploring the surrounding area. Ballintoy, Giants Causeway etc. Had a great holiday and loved the location. Facilities in the cottage were great for the four of us. Kitchen had everything we needed too. My only issue were with the beds. I slept in the largest room and I think the mattress has seen better days. Very uncomfortable and glad to get home for a good nights sleep. Apart from that it was brilliant. Thank you so much.

Wifi ok. Good parking. On working farm, but very private and very quiet. It is perfectly placed for exploration of the causeway coast.

The Causeway Coast was a great holiday destination. The property was excellent and provided with all we needed, on its own short section of road off a country lane. Thanks to James the owner and Sykes for another great place to stay.

  • "The property had everything we could have needed and was in an excellent position, we really enjoyed our stay."

The kitchen was well equipped and a lovely space to cook and eat. I loved the reading room it was so relaxing to sit there and read my book in the evening. The only slight negative was that the beds were quite uncomfortable and the one in the large bedroom squeaked a lot when turning over in bed so we didn’t sleep that well during our stay.

Fantastic home from home kitchen. The location is just perfect to explore the Antrim Coast, nothing is more than 20 minutes away. Recommend eating at Tartine at the Distillers Arms in Bushmills. Don't miss the beautiful walks from Portballintine , you can walk all the way to The Giants Causeway or take the loop around the golf course. Will definitely return to Rosies's Cottage and highly recommend.

The house was clean and had everything we needed. The only negative would be the mattresses which weren’t very comfortable. Other than that we had a great stay.

  • "This is a a great holiday cottage well located about 2 miles south of Bushmills so ideal for exploring the Giants Causeway and Causeway Coast."

It has everything you need and is warm and comfortable. The owner is very welcoming and ready to please and be helpful. Just a couple of things I would mention: - Mattress toppers would make the beds more comfortable. A convex mirror placed at the end of the lane would make it easier to get out on to the road. You can't see when trying to exit the lane especially with the hedges having grown at this time of year.

  • "Our stay at Rosies Cottage was truly relaxing."

The cottage was beautifully fitted out, especially the kitchen. We were greeted by the owner once we had settled in. This cottage is superbly positioned for exploring the Antrim Coast. The Glens, Londonderry were easily accessible and the Giants Causeway just a few minutes away. For GoT fans there are several sites where the series was filmed. Unfortunately, due to COVID restrictions a number of places required pre booking whilst some closed. However, this did not spoil one of the most relaxing holidays we have had.

They also have set the boiler so you can only keep the heating on for one our at a time so you have to constantly press the button to turn it on again. Also the dining table cannot accommodate 6 adults comfortably.

  • "We really enjoyed our holiday to Northern Ireland."

The cottage was the bees knees! It provided us with a home from home during our week exploring and is situated centrally for the North Antrim coast. The whole week went swimmingly, we ate in Bushmills one evening at the Distillers Arms. The meal was excellent, as was the welcome and service we received. We also had one night fish and chips from the Hip Chip. Top notch fish and chips. Every other evening we catered for ourselves in the well equipped, large kitchen at Rosie's Cottage, then sat in front of a roaring fire for a couple of hours chat before retiring to the really comfortable beds for the night. A basket of logs was provided for our first couple of evenings but after that we called in at the Maxol Service Station on our way from the village for logs and peat. We did our main shopping at Asda in Coleraine and got bits and bobs from the Spar on Main Street, just opposite the Old Bushmills Distillery. We enjoyed visits and walks to the Giant's Causeway, Portrush, Coleraine, Portstewart, Castlerock, Ballintoy, Ballycastle and a day at Belfast Zoo. We had tea and scones at The Wee Cottage at Dunluce castle at least three times during the week, sitting in front of the open fire. All in all, we could not have asked for a better week's holiday. The best part of each day was settling in at Rosie's Cottage in the evening, planning our next day's adventure. We would highly recommend the cottage and look forward to a return visit in the near future.

Absolutely loved everything about it. Host gave a very warm welcome. Had nothing to worry about during our stay, host left ample amount of towels, tissues, cleaning products and hair dryers in every bedroom. Saved so much of my running up and down in the cottage. It was very quiet and peaceful in Christmas holidays, just what we were looking for.... our life away from busy London!
