Thank you Joan for your kind review. I'm glad you and especially the children enjoyed your stay in Gortin Cottage.... it's all about making memories so hopefully in years to come the children will come back to relive some happy times. • "An absolute gem of a place."

Cosy, well equipped cottage. Lovely well maintained garden. Secluded and offering peace and tranquility - away from the rush of everyday life. All set in the stunning Glens of Antrim. Great location with easy access to explore the north from Belfast to Port Rush and beyond. Welcome pack was much appreciated - thank you. John met us after arrival and was very welcoming and knowledgeable of the area. We've been using cottages for over 20 years and Gortin rates very highly - would certainly return and highly recommend. Thank you to John and Fiona.

Thank you so much for the review.I'm really glad you enjoyed staying at the cottage and liked the surrounding area.I remarked to Fiona that the rain on Thursday allowed the waterfalls to be at their best ....even on a wet day Glenariffe has a certain beauty. I'm happy you mention that you would stay here again....that is the highest possible recommendation. John Property Owner

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage especially waking up in bed with views of the Antrim Hills."

It was well sited for trips to Ballymena, Belfast, Giants Causeway and Rathlin Island. Recommend doing the waterfalls walk at nearby Glenarrif Country Park.

  • "Cottage was in a beautiful location, the owners were very lovely and visited to make sure we were enjoying our stay."

The amenties were great along with a lovely welcome basket, only things that could be improved is a little booklet with information about the property (e.g., what to do when leaving and how to work the hot water/shower/fire etc.) and the shower pressure /enclosure (the pressure being more of a personal preference anyway). It would've been useful to know in the listing that the washing machine is outside of the main cottage, but understandable given the space in the kitchen. John was easy to reach with any questions, and was very open to improvements so I'm sure this will be taken into consideration, and many other features will be added in no time.

Thank you for your kind review. I will attend to the issues mentioned asap. In the meantime thank you for choosing Gortin Cottage as your base whilst exploring this beautiful part of Ireland. Property Owner

Thank you for your kind review.Im really glad you enjoyed your stay. I appreciate greatly that you liked the cottage and would be happy to do likewise in the future...that is the best of all recommendations. Thank you once again for choosing Gortin Cottage. Property Owner
