5 Customer Reviews

  • "House was clean and tidy but very basic."

Like most of the other reviewers they could provide an instruction guide as to how to operate the hot water, heating and cooker. There should also be a fire blanket or extinguisher provided especially when the cooker is so close to the timber press. The bathroom while had adequate towels had no towel rails which meant drying the towels after showering was a challenge. There has been a lot of work put into the property but it still requires some more.

  • "Insufficient towel rails for four people."

Single beds not really for adults - pillows could do with an upgrade. It may be useful to provide a folder of information for guests eg how to turn on hot water and heating, how to use the shower hot water system as well as local attractions, restaurants/pubs, etc.

  • "Rockwood cottage was in a fantastic locations it was central to lots of beaches and attractions and the scenery was breathtaking."

We enjoyed just being left to enjoy the property, however it would be nice to have a little more information regarding hot water controls etc. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you for a lovely relaxing holiday just what the doctor ordered.
