"The house was warm and cozy."
A fresh loaf of bread was waiting along with a few other treats. The wood burning stove was perfect with plenty of wood provided! The owner stopped in to check on us soon after we arrived and was available via text. The house was completely updated and WiFi worked great. Highly recommended.

"Lovely Country Cottage newly/tastefully renovated secluded location 10 minutes from Enniscorthy On arrival there was a lovely cob bread and 2 Easter eggs for the grandchildren lovely touch Quaint pub 10 minute walk The fact that there is no toilet for upstairs bedrooms was a slight inconvenience."
Overall great experience would highly recommend Patrick

"Lovely cottage, very peaceful and private surroundings, very dog friendly."
The cottage was ideal for our family Christmas stay, a beautiful log burner with a supply of logs and kindling which was perfect. Cottage was warm and comfortable. The cottage was well laid out and kitchen had everything to prepare our Christmas dinner. There were games supplied and a smart tv so plenty of entertainment. Nearby Enniscorthy worth a visit plus plenty of other places to explore a bit further afield, such as Hook Lighthouse and Kilkenny. Would consider staying again, thanks.
-
"Exceptional holiday stay, generous owners."
On arrival a loaf, butter, milk, tea, coffee etc not a starter pack for fire but enough to keep you going for months. It was a lovely quiet spot with the sheep as neighbors. It gave us a lovely base to visit family and have them over. The kitchen was well equipped and modern. The shower warm and reliable. Lots of space outside to enjoy. We will be back.

"We very much enjoyed our stay at the Yew Tree House, it is a lovely, well kept cottage and we will look out for it when we return to Ireland to holiday and visit our Family."
-
"This was the best equipped cottage we have ever stayed in."
Lovely surroundings and plenty of space for everyone. The owner even left local strawberries and freshly baked bread as well as milk and butter in the fridge. Very thoughtful. Would definitely recommend xx
-
"Everything about this house was amazing."
So clean, had all the best amenities even a smart telly! Had kids toys, boardgames, washing machine and dryer, lovely outside area for sitting, modern shower and kitchen. Can't think of a single negative thing and will definitely return!!

"Yew Tree cottage is wonderful."
I think it is even better than the beautiful pictures of it. I stayed with my 12 year old son and our dog. The 12 year never once looked for 'screens' he was out playing, exploring, building the fire for the barbecue, barbecuing for us. The barbecue area is just gorgeous - we cooked and sat out until the sun went down. Had lovely country walks and Enniscorty is so close with a super Lidle and Aldi.

"We were in desperate need for some r&r and to escape the city…."
. it was last minute and we only had a short amount of time to spare. This was by far one of the best stays we have had. We spent time together, isolated from everyone in glorious sunshine and it was perfect. We could have stayed so much longer. Our son loved the freedom to run around on the grass in a safe space with lots of toys and we enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying meals in the sunshine. The house was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We miss it already!

"Lovely property in a peaceful location."
Equipped to a high standard with pretty much everything you'd need. Friendly owner who is available should you need anything sorted out with the property.
-
"Very lovely remote cottage."
Great views, quiet and very well equipped. We were a bit worried with only one bathroom, but it all worked out well. It is a wildlife haven. Cookoos, woodpeckers, mistle thrush, and a host of other birds were frequent visitors. The picnic area near the river is great!

"WoW What a beautiful house and surroundings!"
This was the first Easter we were all together after Covid, so it was very special and the house and grounds added a amazing place for us all. John (the owner) we enjoyed your stories about the history of the house and your amazing journey in doing it up. We wish you and your family every success with it in the future. Thank you so much for the apple tart too. We will definitely book to stay here again. Kind regards Ann from London

"We were a family group and this property proved an excellent base to visit relatives in both Wexford and Wicklow."
Extremely comfortable with breakfast basics left for us. In addition John, the owner, called in one evening with an apple pie which we had for dinner that night - very nice

"Thank you, John, the landlord, for making our stay so enjoyable, great attention to detail, we didn't miss anything here."
Very clean house, with high-quality appliances, a modern kitchen and bathroom and a good wifi signal.

"Beautiful, clean and welcoming Farmhouse and gardens!"
Lovely character of an old farmhouse with all the modern touches. Great space indoors in kitchen area, living space and bedrooms. Great amenities including tumble dryer, washing machine and dishwasher. All cooking/cleaning amenities available also. Easy to read instructions for appliances and guide with local attractions which we explored quite a few including the castles and irish heritage park. No more than 30-40 minutes from some of the best beaches I have visited in Ireland, 5 minute drive from Enniscorthy town which we were lucky enough to visit their food festival one of the days. Host welcomed us with a large punnet of fresh Wexford strawberries and later that week called in with a lovely baked apple tart and some icecream for the children. Children enjoyed this house very much, lovely garden area which they spent every night playing tennis or football on, a small walk down the lane had a lovely stream with bbq area which they played in. 10/10

"Beautiful house, great facilities, gorgeous grounds which were enjoyed both by ourselves and our husky and a lovely BBQ area with seating and umbrella."
Our host provided a very tasty punnet of fresh strawberries on arrival and called later in the week with a freshly baked apple tart. He also provides a file detailing how to use all the appliances (very useful) and with suggestions for eating out and exploring Wexford. Many thanks John!

"We had a wonderful holiday staying in Yew Tree House."
This house is amazing, located in a lovely setting, close to Enniscorthy. The house is spotlessly clean and the bedrooms were comfortable, spacious and elegant. The bathroom and kitchen were modern and very well equipped. The outdoor seating area was the icing on the cake, we made full use of the on site barbecue. The location provides a great base from which to explore Wexfords many tourist attractions and breath taking beaches. There is even a little bar close to the house. John, our host was friendly and helpful, welcoming us with a punnet of lovely Wexford strawberries on arrival. We had a wonderful holiday and would recommend Yew Tree House to anyone looking to explore the sunny southeast of Ireland. Daragh

"I couldn't speak highly enough about this property."
It was so clean and spacious and more than ample.room for a party of 7. A lovely large living /dining area with stove and loads of firewood. A beautiful very well equipped kitchen and a lovely large shower. This old farmhouse has been exquisitely refurbished and the bedrooms are large with very comfy beds. We will derinately be back!!

"The cottage is recently renovated, very clean and is very well equipped and stocked with the basics."
John also left us some lovely Wexford strawberries. There is plenty of wood for the burner which we lit as it can get chilly in the evenings. We also used the bbq and sat out to eat . There is only one bathroom/ toilet in the house. The stream is at quite a remove from the house so wasn’t a concern. This is a beautiful part of Ireland, with views to Mount Leinster and lovely countryside. It’s about 10 mins to Enniscorthy town and about a further 15 minutes to the beach at Curracloe. We will return!
