  • "The house is in a beautiful position and accommodates a large group with ease."

However, it was very dusty and in one ground floor bedroom damp. The shower is in my opinion dangerous as it suddenly shoots out very hot water without warning despite being on a low temperature which means you can’t trust it. I thought I was going to be burned when it happened to me. We had a good time despite this but my holiday was ruined when on the last day we stripped the beds as requested and I was revolted by what I saw. The bedding was stained and the pillows in the downstairs bedroom can only be described as disgusting. I felt guilty that I had invited my family for our special anniversary and they had had to sleep on that.

  • "Brandon Cottage was the perfect place to stay for our first visit to the Dingle Peninsula."

We received all the information that we needed to arrive and for our stay, and the owner was communicative and accommodating. The cottage is perfectly situated, with walks and bike rides possible from the front door, and only a short drive away from beaches and attractions. We’re already thinking of booking next year!

It is a big house suitable for a large family, but the house needs a deep clean and some updating.

He needs to update his photos and information because there now is WiFi and a new kitchen! We will return next year please God, as we had a wonderful time. The house is great for children, in a lovely peaceful location. It's well kitted out in the kitchen and we all slept well in the comfortable beds .We would recommend this property.

  • "Excellent property in the most stunning of locations with scenic panoramic views."

House has all mod cons that one requires. Easy communication with Brendan the owner and Stacy the caretaker. Village close by with good entertainment and hospitality in Harvey’s/O’Conners Bar. Also Murphy’s Bar at the end of the pier in Brandon Harbour is another hospitable public bar .One piece of advice is that the underground heating takes at least 6 hours to warm up if not more but once it does you will not need to light open fire unless you want the romance of it. We would certainly return if the God’s keep smiling on us.

L'aménagement est très simple et suffisant. Manque de matériel de cuisine et aspirateur qui n'aspire pas.

  • "The location of Brandon Cottage is wonderful, surrounded by mountains and local coast but unfortunately the house itself was a tired and not clean."

The furniture ,some of which was broken(chairs and bedside cabinet)It seemed like no cleaning had been done in preparation for guests, orange peel and peanuts strewn on bedroom floor and down back of bed.Dirty kitchen floor and dust everywhere. We also had an infestation of flies indoors in early April which we spent time each morning destroying. This home could be a lovely place to stay if the above issues were addressed. On arrival we spent time cleaning the home and found the vacuum cleaner not working,no suction.Communication with the housekeeper was not easy ,we were promised a replacement vacuum cleaner which never materialised. Wonderful location but sadly the cleanliness and tired and unloved home and poor communication by housekeeper was a disappointment.

The house is spacious and well equipped the grounds and garden are generous and well maintained and the surroundings and views are spectacular and breathtaking. It is a beautiful part of the world with fine people and each and everyone of us enjoyed ourselves immensely. Value for money was good.

Very reasonable price. We booked house for 4 adults & 6 kids & while sleeping areas were perfect the sitting room would benefit from an extra sofa. Wi-Fi was only sporadic & would have been nice to have some TV service for kids but house worked well overall for our group.
