  • "The view of Bantry bay from the living room is stunning."

    The house is very well equipped and modern but FILTHY !!. THE FRIDGE WAS DIRTY INSIDE AND OUT THE COOKER WAS DIRTY INSIDE AND OUT THE SHOWERS WERE DIRTY INSIDE AND OUT THE TOILETS WERE DIRTY PARTICULARLY UNDER THE RIMS THE HEARTHS WERE COVERED IN ASHES THERE WERE PILES OF DUST AND DEAD FLIES IN LOTS OF THE CORNERS The directions to the property need some refining: “Drive for approx. 2 miles and you will see the Hill and Sea View B&B on your right-hand side.” THE DISTANCE IS THREE MILES AND THE “Hill and Sea View B&B WAS NOWHERE IN SIGHT

    The view of the mountains and bay was absolutely breathtaking and the house was a very comfortable base for exploring this beautiful area. It was a quiet location away from traffic noise - complete peace and restoration.

Sitting at the head of Glengarriff Bay, the village of Glengarriff boasts many natural attractions, and is very popular with tourists. With its seaside location, nature reserve and Glengarriff Golf Club, there is plenty on offer to cater to all tastes. There is an abundance of exciting walks available for all abilities in the area surrounding Glengarriff; enjoy a scenic riverside or forest stroll in the Glengarriff Nature Reserve or, if you’re feeling adventurous, enjoy a challenging walk in the Caha Mountains.
