  • "Superb house ideally located across the bridge from Killorglin town centre with everything within easy reach."

The kids loved waking up every morning to the sight of King Puck and river Laune, the sourdough bread at the bakery is out of this world (not to mention it’s the size of a baby). Noel is a fantastic host and was super helpful. Definitely the place to go if you are visiting Killarney and Ring of Kerry!

The house was just Perfect, the Kitchen was so fantastic with everything you could have wanted to cook a gourmet meal and then some. Showers were hot and Bedrooms were spacious and clean.. I was a Travel Agent for years and one of my jobs was inspections on properties, I notice a lot lol! This home was Spotless but also the tiny details that were put into it by Noel and Sheila was just amazing. The de-core and again "That Kitchen" xxx Can you tell I'm in love with the Kitchen. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The Views were amazing and the location to the town was fantastic, everything was within walking distance. Can't wait to return....

  • "Key collection was simple and without drama."

On arrival the owner had kindly put some milk in the fridge for hot drinks and chocolate biscuits which were a much appreciated bonus! The property is spacious, beautifully clean, very nicely furnished and presented, comfortable and with a very well equipped kitchen including a full sized fridge/freezer, so great for self-catering although it’s only a 10 minute walk over the bridge into Killorglin with pubs, restaurants and take-aways. Good bed and bedding plus good quality towels and plenty of them. Very quiet despite being close to a main road and picturesque views over the river towards town. Only slight surprise was that we thought the property had off-street parking. It’s on the street but a dead end. Even so, we’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

It makes a great base for exploring the surrounding areas of killarney national park and the Dingle peninsula. Although the house looks small from the front it has a large extension so can comfortably accommodate 5 people. Very stylishly decorated, comfy beds, large living area and kitchen. We will definitely be staying again.

The house is excellently located to discover the beautiful county of Kerry. Although it’s in a small neighbourhood, the area is very quiet and peaceful with beautiful views a stone’s throw away. The neighbours we met were very friendly. The house has all the amenities you would want on holiday and more than we would have expected - compared to previous experiences when self-catering (eg everything had been thought about from silver foil to washing detergent!). We enjoyed using the garden seating when the weather was kind. The house was beautifully clean and spacious, with more than enough living spaces for a family of 4 (having 3 bathrooms also a bonus!) The host, Noel, was super friendly and very helpful when needed. We’re so glad we chose to stay here for our 1st trip to Kerry.

  • "The house was lovely and spacious."

Very clean throughout and very comfortable. The only slight issue was the swarm of spider mites at the front, meaning I didn't feel I could open windows or sit outside. (could still sit out in the back garden). The binder of information was very useful. the location was ideal for exploring the county. And while I thought the limited parking might be an issue, it really wasn't. I had no issues at all. Would definitely come back next time I visit Kerry.

  • "Amazing. The home was perfect and could not recommend enough."

It is absolutely value for money and we could not fault our stay in any way - it was definitely home from home. The home was clean, comfortable and has lovely open spaces for our little one to run around. The hosts went above and beyond, by ensuring we had a cot on arrival and ensured we got there and settled in well. We did not need their help during our stay, however if we did, we had all their contact details and were aware of how easy accessible they would be. Board games were in the home which we really enjoyed and the kitchen had everything you need to cook any dish you want! We had two cars, and there were always spaces outside to park. The location was perfect, with a less than a 5 minute walk into town. The views outside were amazing. We can not recommend this home enough and we will definitely be returning for our next Ireland holiday. Thank you.

We loved everything about the property. The photos don’t do it justice! The place was also spotlessly clean. The cot, high chair, baby bowl etc were all in excellent condition. Everything about the property was to a high spec and this really didn’t feel like a holiday home - it’s absolutely a home away from home! Location is so convenient for day trips and there are so many amenities on hand. The internet connection was excellent so my husband was easily able to work from home some of the days. I cannot recommend this property highly enough.

  • "First of all a huge thanks to Sheila and Noel for welcoming us into their gorgeous house!"

The first moment we entered the house we were hooked by the charm and the sense of luxury in the open space of the living room and kitchen, everything is modern, comfortable and stylish! The sofas are very inviting, all of us enjoyed spending time there reading books, drawing, watching TV or just chatting. We had all the appliances we needed from kettle to toaster and 2 modern ovens, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. I particularly liked the idea of having different bins for bottles, paper, plastic and food waste. Moving upstairs in the bedrooms, they are all cosy and comfortable (my husband has back problems and he complained a bit about the mattress but me and my daughters slept like babies), the owners of the house prepared clean towels (more than enough for all of us). Rooms also come with hairdryer which was very helpful as we didn't have to share one for 3 people. What I like most is the fact that the house has 3 toilets and hot water so the shower was never crowded... The location is great, we could travel to Tralee (for the Aqua Dome), to Killarney for the amazing National Park, to Dingle for the Aquarium and to some of the local beaches. The view is great no matter the weather / time of the day, there are pubs, restaurants, take away and shops so one will have plenty of options for a night out / nice dinner in. The locals are celebrating King Puk's festival in August, that's probably an event that worth taking a trip to Killorglin during that time of the year. Long story short, we absolutely loved our stay in 35 Laune View! Thank you once again Sheila and Noel!

This is the perfect place if you are looking for somewhere warm to relax for a while, close to restaurants with good food (and take away!) and in the heart of Kerry. Met Noel the owner on the Saturday morning, we spoke to him the Friday evening and explained we needed to park the car up as early as possible on the Saturday morning due to the local Puck Fair, which is always attended by thousands, he couldn't have been more helpful, coned the road off outside for us and we parked up nice and early. When we returned in the afternoon to get the keys he was again helpful, showed us around the house, explained all the amenities etc, very nice man. He and his wife Sheila have put a great deal of thought into this property and the welcome pack was thoughtful and not expected, we had taken coffee, tea, loo rolls etc with us, didn't need to have done, all provided and more. Many thanks Noel and Sheila. Hope we get to meet you next year Sheila, thank you for your hospitality and already counting down the days. Regards, Dave, Beth ,Tim and Michael.
