  • "Lovely quiet setting, great views."

Modern house with all amenities. Very quick and efficient to help when we encountered a small problem of a blown lightbulb. Perfect in every way and a lovely holiday.

  • "Curraha is an absolutely fantastic house."

We have been staying in cottages for many many years and this is definitely at the top our our list. The views are unbelievable, the pictures online do not even start to do it justice. There is every facility you could possibly need. Sinead, the owner, was great. We had a problem with our car and she and her father arranged assistance from a great local garage. She was always available if needed. Wish we had had a month rather than two weeks. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to explore the area. You won't be disappointed.

  • "Quiet location, very good owners, who keep the inside and outside of the property in a good state, minor points, the heating was only preset for one hour morning and afternoon, so we requested an extension to two, which was done kindly, and there are no coat hooks in the upstairs shower room or downstairs main bathroom, so nothing to hang up clothes or towels, if this is done this will help very much."

  • "A wonderfully appointed house in a great location."

Peaceful, isolated, restful, but still plenty to see and do if one wishes. How amazing to be able to see the night sky . It was just the two of us but 6 people would be comfortable here with plenty of space. And lots of toys, outdoor space, and games for kids too.

  • "We spent a wonderful fortnight in Curraha."

The house is homely and welcoming and the surroundings are awe inspiring. Excellent facilities with everything you could want and the owner Sinead is readily available if/when needed. Definitely rates as one of the best holiday homes we’ve stayed in. A great location from which to explore the Beara Peninsula, which has a photo-worthy view around every corner!

  • "Stayed here for a week with my family."

The house is extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean and in an absolutely spectacular part of the world. The only down side is because of the location you have to do a lot of driving. But do not let that deter you from staying here.

Dark nights ensure good sleep and the views are just stunning. Location is good for exploring mountains or seafront, but shops, fuel and pubs/restaurants are further afield. Property owners are easy to keep in touch with and keen that you’re stay is enjoyable. Really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you

  • "The picture does not do this house justice."

I expected the cottage to be in some kind of valley, but in reality, it is halfway up a hill overlooking the most spectacular scenery of the bay and the mountain range behind it. The sunset alone is worth the stay. The house is extremely well appointed, comfortable, spacious and fully equipped. The area around it is simply stunning, the whole Berea peninsula is worth a visit, and we cannot wait to go back there again. We were extremely lucky with the sunshine, so we did not spend too much time inside the house, but I am sure even if it is cold and miserable the fireplace will keep you comfortable and cosy. Best place we ever rented.
