  Had everything you could need. Lovely and warm. Two minute walk from the sandy beach. Eileen went above and beyond. Brilliant stay, thank you.

We love it more in the winter time when the sea is rough & you can go back home to hot chocolate & the fire. Eileen is amazing, we couldn’t do this without her & her staff. • "This is a well-kept and well-appointed house with a lovely location and sea view."

  Lots of space in the living room / kitchen / dining area. Owner and housekeeper were brilliant, welcoming and helpful. Our two sons (12 and 9) had a great time nearby on the beach, surfing (Surf Shack) and even walking alpacas (North Coast Alpacas). We would definitely recommend both Castlerock and this property.

  Hi Majeed, Thank you for your very kind words! The surf classes at Surf Shack in the summer time are fantastic, also great that we have the lifeguards on the beach. Other guests have mentioned the Alpacas, I need to go and see them & def need to update the Visitor Guide to tell other guests they are there. • "Great cottage very central for touring the island and very close to railway if you don’t want to drive anywhere and very good places to eat out in walking distance."

• "Extremely clean, well equipped and comfortable property."

  The owner and housekeeper were very nice and helpful. The views are lovely. Castlerock has a beautiful beach and is a good base to explore the rest of Northern Ireland.

• "A wonderful experience."

  Prior to the visit really good communication between the owner, the housekeeper and myself and a very warm welcome on the day by Eileen, with a much appreciated basket of essentials. The holiday home had everything you could possibly need, from a wide selection of books, DVDs, CDs, board games to kitchen utensils, coffee machine, washing machine and tumble dryer. An amazing stay in a lovely setting with wonderful views. Will definitely return. Many thanks. Georgina

  Cosy woodburner in the living room. Very well equipped kitchen. You are able to walk to Mussenden Temple- wonderful views again.We‘ll be back!

Your mastery of the English language puts us to shame :) You had a long journey from Vienna, delighted you picked our house to stay in. We are indeed very lucky to have the Mussenden Temple on our doorstep with a fabulous walk up to it. The views over the Atlantic sea is breathtaking from both the Temple and the walk up. We probably love Castlerock more in the Winter time, the rough seas and the log fire make it a very relaxing setting. • "We had a fantastic stay at 6 Strandview Cottages."

  The house itself was perfect and the warm welcome from Eileen helped guide us for our stay. The location was brilliant, it was easy to explore the area around Castlerock as well as exploring further afield. Would definitely recommend.

• "Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic Where do I start!"

  ! What an amazing place to stay. The accommodation was spectacular from the second we opened the door. It has a large open plan kitchen, sitting room and dining area all looking out to the beautiful Castlerock beach at an elevated position. The four bedrooms were extremely cosy and beautifully decorated and we all slept so well. Eileen welcomed us at the accommodation with her true Irish hospitality and made us feel at home immediately. Dolores (the owner) contacted us before our holiday to introduce herself and to let us know what Castlerock and the surrounding area had to offer. Both Dolores and Eileen are two lovely people. We have been visiting this stunning part of Northern Ireland for many years and I can truly say that my family alway look forward to this holiday the most to recharge our batteries. I almost didn’t want to write this review as I wanted to keep this beautiful place our secret so that we could visit on a regular basis but I have to say that this accommodation and Castlerock is a ‘must visit’ holiday. Thank you so much Dolores and Eileen, will DEFINITELY see you again!

• "Exceptional family house with amazing views."

  We were a party of five adults, a four year old and a dog. Eileen met us at the property on arrival with a lovely warm welcome. She is a font of knowledge and knows absolutely everything about the local area. The property has everything a family would need and we felt immediately at home. (Every need has been considered to make your stay perfect, right down to the picnic basket which we used on several occasions). The location is spot on for exploring the Causeway Coast and surrounding area. Wonderful family holiday and can't wait to return.

A picnic is a must when you are travelling about the North Coast of Ireland, there are so many places to stop and admire the scenery. • "Lovely house, very well equipped, in a great location with a super sea view."

  The opportunity for local walks straight from the house - along the cliffs to Downhill and the Mussenden Temple, the beach and the golf course was very enjoyable. The general location to explore the wider area including the Giants Causeway, Ballintoy, Port Stewart and Rush was also ideal while avoiding a very crowded and busy environment. Castlerock is a very relaxing spot. The information and help prior to booking and on arrival was first class especially the restaurant recommendations. What's not to like.
