  • "A lovely rural cottage with everything you need."

. We didn’t use the outside space (time of year we stayed) but seemed very spacious. Ample parking for large cars Hosts were very welcoming. A great part of the country to explore, especially the coastal walks, the scenic views, UNESCO sites to name a few and a comfortable environment to return to after a busy day.

  • "We had a great holiday."

Cottage is in a great location for exploring the North coast and it’s good value compared with some others. It’s clean and comfortable. Eggs, milk, chocolates and flowers were left out for us. One of the photos is a bit misleading. It shows 2 beds in one room so I thought it slept 5 people. There’s only one bed in that room so it sleeps 4 people. I will book again if I go back to that area.

  • "A lovely cottage which had everything we needed and more."

Liz ,the host was lovely. When we arrived there was dimmed lighting, classical music playing, flowers, chocolates, milk and eggs , so kind. A very comfortable, clean cottage, beautifully decorated and lovely finishing touches. Having cows outside our bedroom window was the best thing ! May cottage is ideally situated for exploring the Antrim Coast, we would highly recommend it.

The popular Antrim coast is extremely close, and easily accessible, but when you return to the cottage you are in an oasis of calm, surrounded by fields of sheep and cattle. Owners Liz and Liam are incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Owner was lovely and provided milk etc for us which was so helpful when we arrived very late at night. And the Christmas tree really made us smile. FYI The sink in the upstairs toilet takes a long time to drain so probably needs a quick clean out.

The cottage is a barn conversion and is just lovely- very warm and comfortable and quite big inside with everything you could possibly need. We had milk and biscuits, flowers and chocolates on arrival which were a lovely surprise. It is on a working farm and the owners live nearby. We had our own front drive and large sunny back courtyard garden, overlooking countryside with cows in the field next to us. It is a good base to explore the whole of the Antrim coastline which was beautiful and interesting

Set on a sheep farm in a beautifully quiet location but only a short drive from the stunning Causeway Coast, May's Cottage was a stand out choice. From the flowers and chocolates on arrival we felt welcomed by Liam and Liz. The accommodation was clean and well equipped, and exactly what we needed. WiFi was a bit spotty, but I guess that's the cost of the rural location. We would definitely return on our next trip to Northern Ireland.

The reception was very friendly, there was communication before we arrived and the owners were both there to welcome us most friendly. What a perfect cottage this is! Very up to date, bright, clean, complete, nothing we could discover that was not there. We often said to each other: we easily could live here all year round. The contact with the owners was very nice, It was the best holiday cottage we ever rented. And in the region there is a lot te see and discover: causeway route, Giant Causeway, Dark Hedges, cliffs, views, Derry, Belfast, whiskey making in Bushmills. What a holiday we had!
