  • "This was our second stay at Wee Andy's and we can wholeheartedly recommend it."

The property has been well designed to offer excellent family accommodation and, in our case, it is one of the best properties we have come across for our daughter who is a wheelchair user - including level access, a wet room and 'walk-in' wardrobe. We certainly hope to be back again soon.

  • "Sometimes, the moment you book a stay and long before you arrive at the property, you know things are going to be OK and you are not going to have to spend time and money on solicitors, small claims courts, Section 75 claims, etc."

This was certainly one of those happy times. The communication, from the beginning was excellent, informative and friendly. On arrival, Rory was already waiting for us. He took time to show us around the property, explained how things worked and pointed out places to visits. The property was immaculate, super clean, well furnished, maintained and loved by Cathy and Rory who are obviously proud of their home and what they have to offer. My old man used to say,… to milk a cow, you have to first make the all important lifelong commitments to love and care for it and also respect everyone who comes to say hello to the cow and buy the milk. Our welcome gifts were the most generous we have ever received in our many years of renting holiday homes in UK and Europe. Everything in the property worked as it should, was of good quality and uncomplicated. Cathy and Rory were available when and if required but not intrusive. Though we live in UK, Ireland is our real home and we are familiar with things. So, to be left alone to get on and enjoy our stay was something we truly appreciated. Thank you Cathy and Rory. We will be back.

The house was easy to find and there was lots of delicious goodies to welcome us when we arrived. The house is immaculate, comfortable and has everything you could need. The grounds are perfect for relaxing in the sun between trips. The house is a great base for trips to the many beautiful beaches, waterfalls, fishing and pier jumping. The ferry from Buncrana to Rathmullan is particularly spectacular on a good day. Our hosts Cathy and Rory were extremely welcoming and always on hand to give advice or help in anyway. We forgot one of the kid's life jackets and In no time at all, Rory had delivered one to the door. Thanks Cathy and Rory for being fabulous hosts. We will look forward to visiting 'Wee Andy's' again soon!!

  • "This is an immaculate cottage maintained to a superb standard."

We met the owner, who explained how everything worked and we had a lovely welcome pack to set us up. Whilst this is not advertised as an accessible cottage, one bathroom has a disabled toilet and shower chair which was of great benefit to us. The outside space has been very well done and the seating provides views over the countryside. Nothing was too much trouble, we had great communication from the owners who even helped us when we couldn’t find the cottage due to our lack of understanding the directions. This cottage is highly recommended for a visit to county Donegal.

The cottage provided a warm, (spectacularly) clean, comfortable base to return to while visiting Derry and Inishowen in the autumnal weather. There is space to relax, a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and two shower rooms. Cathy and Rory were warm, welcoming, helpful and un-intrusive hosts who had thought of everything including a welcome of tea/coffee, milk and locally made bread and cakes. We would definitely book again if we return.

  • "I cannot speak highly enough about our stay at Wee Andy's."

Cathy and Rory were the perfect hosts - they had thought about just about everything we could possibly want during our stay and made sure we knew they were available should we need anything else. They provided a welcome pack of baked goods and wine; very unexpected but a lovely touch. The house itself is modern, immaculately clean and has great facilities - we cooked many meals when we were there and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. There was unlimited hot water and the heating was very effective. The beds were very comfortable, with pristine white bedlinen and lots of lovely plump pillows on every bed - a refreshing change from many rental houses. One of our party had limited mobility so everything on one level, and a modern wetroom, was just perfect for us. Multiple parking spaces provided just outside the front door so loading and unloading cars was as painless as possible. Our party ranged from teens to 50s and everyone loved the house and fully intend to visit again if at all possible. Thanks to Cathy and Rory for providing such great facilities and making us so welcome; just the right balance of contact/leaving us to our own devices. A beautiful house in a beautiful area.
