  • "This large house is perfectly situated on a hill with a fantastic view of an inlet to the sea and is within driving distance of some beautiful beaches and all sites and amenities in the Fanad area."

It was perfect for us and our small dog. It is warm and well maintained - very comfortable. Ann the owner is very friendly and helpful and left us a nice 'welcome pack' with cake, wine and biscuits. Our only small criticism would be that the kitchen is not that well equipped (no smaller plates, only a few bowls - bring a potato peeler!). There are no recycle bins (or indeed, any external bins) and recyclable materials need to be taken off site but this was not a major inconvenience. We would recommend this home and, if you can't find peace and tranquility in the 'hills' (and beaches) of North Donegal, there's really no hope for you... Trevor and Elaine

Comfortable in beautiful, peaceful location. Lots of space indoor and outdoor. Owner easy to reach and kept in touch. Very generous welcome basket there for us (thanks Ann). All loved the reclining chairs in the evening to chill out and watch the view outside. Easy access (10 mins by car) to multiple locations for great beaches, restaurants, shops etc. All in all, grest home for a relaxing time. Really looking forward to coming back.
