  • "Hi, the house was great."

Of course the view's are amazing... we saw Dolphins from the windows in the kitchen, that was fabulous. The only thing is that the house need more spoons, there were only 3 and they were small. But it was funny when we ate the ice cream with forks.

Thank you for feedback - there is a hidden cutlery drawer with spoons in the pan drawer near the coffee machine. We’ll make it clearer on the instructions how to locate. You were very lucky to see dolphins…we have yet to see! Property Owner

  • "Absolutely fantastic stay, the house was amazing and had perfect stay , was near all the amenities, and the sea views were fantastic, would definatly stay again."

The only negative would be that all the bins were full especially the glass one so we had no where to leave our rubbish and bottles, jars etc we had to take it all to the recycling in the village in order to fit ours in, which was a little inconvenient, especially as was supposed to book in advance but they were very kind and let us recycle all the previous holiday makers rubbish

  • "This was a last-minute booking, and we couldn't have been more pleased!"

The location and views were absolutely stunning. The cottage is beautifully laid out and finished to a high standard, with a thoughtful touch that makes it incredibly child-friendly. A special shoutout to the owners for providing Lego, which was a hit with our youngest (who usually isn’t keen on holidays) right through to the teens! The kitchen was the heart of our stay – a great space for family breakfasts and dinners that made the holiday truly memorable. There are plenty of places within walking distance to explore, including a nearby playpark that you can see from the garden or the house, which was a bonus for us with kids. The house was warm, comfortable, and perfect for a family or friends' getaway. If you're up for a short drive, the National Trust properties Mount Stewart and Castle Ward are both well worth a visit. We particularly enjoyed the option of taking a short ferry ride across from Portaferry to Castle Ward, adding a little adventure to the day. There are also plenty of shops, parks, and sandy beaches close by, as well as great dining options within walking distance. And don’t miss a quick tour of The Moet! Overall, an excellent stay in every way.
