  • "Lovely place to stay."

Would need a little TLC. Some things weren’t provided that was on the listing. But overall a nice place to stay.

  • "Had a lovely fortnight here, with super views from the dining table - long breakfasts watching the light changing over the ocean were a great way to start the day!"

House is comfortable and clean and the owner was very responsive on WhatsApp to deal with any minor niggles. Would stay here again.

  • "We loved the house and the village."

The house was very clean, comfortable and had plenty of room. The local pub was a perfect place to unwind after each day of traveling. Paul (the bartender) was so helpful and even opened the grocery late one evening for us to get a few supplies. We would love to return some day.

House is in poor condition there is no way it’s cleaned properly between visits as their was dust dirt cobwebs and insects everywhere the bin was overflowing with the last guests rubbish including nappy’s the house is also home to starlings that nest in the roof and make an awful racket and destroy the car with their droppings all of the furniture and beds are well pass their sell by date just to clarify there is no bbq or patio as stated in description there was a rusty one in the shed that cannot be used radiators in bedrooms upstairs don’t work there were so many little things that you wouldn’t expect in house that’s priced as this one is it’s a shame as area and location are outstanding

Thank you for your feedback. The cottage is thoroughly steam cleaned and sanitised between stays so we were surprised by your comments. We are sorry the previous guests left a lot of rubbish but the bins are collected every other week in this area which is why we leave extra bags in case they are needed. Starlings do sometimes nest close by but we are not able to control this and most people travel to this area to appreciate the local wildlife in this beautiful area. The mattresses were changed on the beds last year and we choose those type of beds to match the old cottage style. The other furniture is all solid and is fit for purpose. I was not aware that the BBQ was advertised as I asked for this to be taken down last year due to Covid, however the shed is not for guest use and should not be used during bookings. The property listing advertises a garden and conservatory and not a patio. The icon refers to a garden or patio and this property has a garden. Thank you for letting us know about the radiators, we will get these checked. We feel that the property is very reasonably priced in comparison to other local properties, and had the guest contacted us to raise any issues or let my brother know when they saw him, we would have been more than happy to help. We hope you enjoyed your stay otherwise. Property Owner
