"We really enjoyed our time here."
Huge house. The toys were a hit with my kids. House was comfortable and warm. Would recommend. Location was great for seeing some beautiful sites, shops close and peaceful surrounds.

"Great cottage which sleeps 9, there were just 2 of us so we had lots of space."
The kitchen has a large fridge, dishwasher and double range and is very spacious. The smaller items in the kitchen were lacking, no casserole dishes or Pyrex jugs etc. comfortable lounge area but no incidental lighting, A few table lamps would add to the comfort. That said we had a great week there.

"We had to Pay 10 Euro For the Elektrik Energy Was that korrekt Great wishes Family Oberle"
-
"The accommodation was comfortable."
The lounge area could do with a few table or standing lamps and the TV was far too small for the room. The towels and bedding supplied although clean was in poor quality.

"Very fine place to stay"

"A wonderful home from home holiday."
Peaceful location but close enough to town to get provisions. Great base for visiting Co Galway and Co Mayo. Geri was super helpful. We cannot wait to visit again.

"I personally do not like to leave negative feedback but on this occasion I feel i should."
Unfortunately, we had an experience where a group of 3 men in a white van came to the property, knocking on the door and acting very strangely. We felt very nervous after that due to their whole demeanour and we did not feel safe to stay in this very remote cottage overnight following that incident. So we stayed in a b & b overnight with use of the property only during the day which really did spoil our holiday and whole trip to Ireland!

"Score 8/10 relates only to location."
This very large bungalow is in a quiet area with great views, a short drive to Ballinrobe . It is central to many of the attractions in Counties Mayo and Galway, but up to 60 miles away on good roads. These include, Cong, Lakes Corrib and Mask, Connemara, Clifden, Westport, Achill Island etc. Excellent shopping is available in Castlebar and Galway City. Ballinrobe is good for food shopping in Tesco, Aldi etc. For those who like driving, these places are well worth the journeys. The house itself was amazingly comfortable, even for large parties.

"Fantastic house"
-
"House perfect but would have liked some maps, brochures of activities/restaurants etc in Mayo to help us find our way around."
-
"Spacious Family Holiday Home – Ideal for touring Mayo and Galway / The West – Geri was amazing and catered to our every need."
-
"Gerry was very friendly and helpful."
The place was tastefully furnished and it was great to have a fridge that we could actually put things in! I was ready to move in permanently! The location is picturesque and Ballinrobe is a terrific travelling base with great grocery shops at hand. There were a few tiny things that would improve things further - in all the bathrooms - somewhere to hang towels and clothes, toilet paper holders. The bedside light in the master bedroom "hummed" when on and the other side of the bed could have done with a table and light. No curtains didn't bother us, its lovely to wake up in the country mornings (there are blinds).
