"A lovely cottage in a dreamy location, ideal for a family stay in the West of Ireland."
We loved our stay in this spacious, clean and well-presented cottage with all the commodities needed for a family. The play equipment and tennis court are only a bonus in these calm and peaceful surroundings right on the shores of the stunning Corrib. The owner is lovely and helpful and lives nearby if we needed anything. Would highly recommend.

"After a 12 hour journey to reach Lakeside we arrived to a very dirty cottage."
There was a dirty nappy and baby vomit at the back of the sofa cushions and it smelled very unpleasant so we had to buy cleaning products and air freshener, we had to cleanse everything, hoover every where including inside the chairs and sofa, the drawers and closets before we could properly settle in. Following this it was a very enjoyable stay, the owner, Mrs Hall, was lovely and friendly, the area was quiet and really good to explore. The children had the option to use a communal play ground but this was run down and full of cobwebs. They enjoyed exploring instead and playing in the tennis court. There was a communal utility room in another building which was for washing and drying clothes but this was also quite run down and dirty but virtually impossible to access after it went dark unless you used a torch because of its location. This would have been a 100% 5 star brilliant location had it received the love and attention it so clearly needs.
