"Cottage and location excellent."
Area around cottage neglected and outside unit which is accessible in a filthy and cluttered state. Inside the cottage the only real issue was hard seating. We did enjoy our holiday however and the above comments are given in a constructive fashion to try to improve the basic requirements.

OUGHTERARD, COUNTY GALWAY
Galway 17 miles.
The traditional village of Oughterard is found in the west of Ireland on the shores of Lough Corrib, at the start of the Connemara Mountain range and close to the famous Western Way. Home to the Oughterard 18-hole championship golf course, Derroura Mountain Bike Trail and Aughnanure Castle, there are lots of things to see and do, and located next to Lough Corrib, Oughterard is great for lovers of fishing. Just a short drive away in Roscahil is the pretty Brigit's Garden; with four main gardens and places to play, sit and relax, this is a great day out for all the family. Only 17 miles from Oughterard lies Galway City, where you can discover some of Ireland's long and varied history; visit Lynch's Castle, or trace the origin of the famous Claddagh Ring, which originated in a village near the shore of Galway Bay.
