"Hogans provides the SAT NAV coordinates as N53."
40.46 and W09.53.16.3 These coordinates would take you to Westport!! The actual coordinates measured by my SAT NAV are N53.24.16.5 and W09.31.53.7 I would suggest you get Hogans to correct this in their instructions on Travelling to the Property

"Our second time staying here."
Such a lovely welcome from a long journey, stove lit , box of chocolates and a bottle of wine waiting on us. Everything we needed within the house, clean , warm and very comfortable. Brilliant hosts nothing was too much trouble.

"The cottage was great and met expectations, the owners nearby were extremely welcoming and helpful."
The surrounding area was stunning and we will definitely book the cottage again.

"We absolutely loved our stay here."
The house was gorgeous and very comfortable, clean and had all the appliances, towels and sheets that we needed. The owners Maura and Joe were very welcoming and helpful. the house was a great base for the week and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay here. If you are putting on the washing machine I would recommend putting it on when you are out of the house as it is very noisy but that's because it is in the kitchen.

"We had a great time in Tigh Mhicil."
Joe and Maire were very welcoming, and went out of their way to help us when we had car issues. The cottage was sparkling clean and the fire was lit when we came in. It is very well located when you want to explore Connemara by car. I would highly recommend it.

"Very pleasent stay in this location."
Next time, we will try the garden, hopefully if the weather agrees ;-) The location is well located: not too far from supermarket (15 mn) and connemara park (30mn), surrounded of connemara landscapes, wondefull !!!

"From the moment we arrived it became a “home from home” ."
Maire and her family could not have been more helpful. As it was the middle of winter it was lovely to arrive to a warm cosy house, and a lovely turf fire to greet you. Over the few days we were there Maire always made sure we had plenty of turf available. We had one or two small issues during our stay, which were dealt with speedily and efficiently. We appreciated being able to converse “As Gaeilge” , which doesn’t happen too often these days. The house was spotless and well kitted out. We had access to Saorview and DVDs . There is NO Wi-Fi available on the property. It is in a great location to explore Connemara and environs.

"Lovely cottage , brilliant for our family of 5!"
Ideal base for discovering Galway! Clean and comfy, it’s a credit to Maura ! We will definitely be back again!

"Lovely comfortable cottage, the perfect base for exploring beautiful Connemara."
The owners were so friendly and helpful. We would love to go back.

"Very good overall, but the microwave broke down and hot water stopped being available."
The biggest problem, however, was the dishwasher, which only worked on the Eco setting, which took hours, and which was incredibly noisy. Imagine trying to go to sleep while someone in the kitchen is beating a big bass drum while leaping up and down in a tub of water. That’s what it sounded like.
Thank you for your feedback, during your stay the microwave broke down however the owners did replace this within the same afternoon. Unfortunately we and the owners were unaware of your hot water issue, this was only reported on departure. It was investigated and appeared a switch had tripped on the water heater. We are glad you were still able to enjoy your holiday. Property Owner

"This cottage was a very warm and welcoming retreat for our large family."
We enjoyed the personal touches of family photographs and the kitchen was very well equipped. My mother took to calling the sitting room behind the stove "nana's parlor". We felt very at home. We only wished that we could have stayed longer!

Very nice hosts.

"We loved this cute little cottage in the conemara countryside."
The cottage was very clean, plenty big enough and cozy. The owners were very thoughtful and helpful. The fire was lit when we arrived they showed us on the map where we could find hiking trails, castles and many other things to do during our stay. Thank you!

"It's a very old, characterful, beautiful cottage set in the real depths of Connemara."
The nearest little village of Ros muc is twenty minutes' drive down the road. The owners are really lovely and we had a gorgeous time overall, despite the wet weather! Would highly recommend. Be aware there is no wifi and the area is unable to pick up data either.

"It was beautiful."
We enjoyed the peace very much and were very happy about the loving reception of our hosts. From here we were able to reach all our sights without any problems. We can only recommend this beautiful little house in any case.

"A beautiful traditional cottage in a wonderfully remote location."
Very well-equipped and comfortable, with helpful owners who live next door. Parking is off-road, opposite the cottage. The immediate area is a very beautiful and there are plenty of local walks. A real bargain at the price!

The cottage was simply lovely, spacious yet warm and cosy. So lovely to find a peat fire when we arrived. Great walks, great beaches, great fishing...all the things we went to Connemara for.
