  • "A very warm welcome from Cepta and Michael."

House was ideal for our group of four (a couple and two other adults) and had fabulous views across the water. We had two cars and were able to explore widely along the Wild Atlantic Way and around Connemara. A very successful holiday.

  • "Prague House is home from home."

Lots of home comforts, particularly the fireplaces, which host Cepta leaves enough fuel for each for the week. Cepta also left us treats to arrive to. She is very knowledgeable of the area as she grew up there. Cepta is contactable if necessary and very helpful. The house is well positioned for exploring Galway, which is stunning. It is spacious, well-maintained and the beds and furniture are comfortable. No complaints at all. Thank you Cepta.

  • "Cepta and Michael are superb hosts."

A lit fire on arrival, scones, being there to greet us, was beyond what you would expect. The house is so well equipped and ideal for families, going on holiday. The area itself was not as picturesque as the ring of kerry region, however, he enjoyed a nice peaceful week and I would recommend to people who are familiar with the area. Such great value for money. Thank you so much.

Cepta had thought of everything and kitchen had mire than you would ever need. Very comfortable bed and chairs. I loved the wrap around terrace with stunning views from every angle. An excellent property for anyone with a disability. Would have no hesitation in recommending this house for a holiday.

  • "After arrival on our first day we met the owner Cepta who was wonderful."

She let us take the keys early after a long journey from the car ferry in Dublin, and all throughout the week offered us info on lovely places to visit. The house is beautiful and is extremely quite and relaxing. The surrounding views are amazing and we would recommend this property to anyone wishing for a beautiful and peaceful holiday. Also a welcome bottle of wine and home baked cakes was very much appreciated when we settled in for our first day at the property. If we could return one day again it would be nice but the property is very well booked so get in fast to seal your fantastic holiday adventure.

A lovely welcome with fresh scones and fires lit, coil nt be nicer. Beautiful wild location which as an artist I really appreciated and Cepta pointed out all the places she thought would interest me and she was spot on!! The local shop was a treasure with everything you would need and the owner speaking Irish, was a treat, despite my Irish being very rusty!! I thoroughly enjoyed the week and will return again.

It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The photos do not do the house justice! Cepta and Micheal were lovely hosts:welcoming, friendly and helpful in every way. The area was fantastic too. So much to do- we will have to return to do everything we wanted. We strongly recommend a day cycling on inis Oirr and climbing Diamond Hill. We could not recommend this house highly enough.

The listing accurately represents the home, but it is so much more! Cepta and Micheal have beautifully updated this family home, retaining the historic integrity while adding every modern convenience a person could need while on vacation. We cannot say enough positive things about the Prague House and highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect base from which to experience all that Connemara has to offer!

  • "The cottage is beautiful and much better than expected."

Especially when you have look at Google-earth, the first impession is not that good. The environment is beautiful, only walking is a bit of a problem: no public footpathes . There's no detailled map of the surroundings in the cottage. You might advice future visitors to buy one at the Internet, because none of the local shops got one. To get around decently you need one. We had a excellent holliday!! Beste Regards Bert Bannink

It is beautiful, quiet and much larger than we thought. We were a group of six people - three generations of of our family. There were three large bedrooms and three baths. We had plenty of living space and privacy. Despite the remote feeling of the cottage, there is a grocery store and a butcher in easy walking distance. The small village has a Post office, gas station and pub. Everything that we could possibly need was thought of by the owner, Cepta Stevens. The garden is large and full of flowers. Our grandchildren played in the garden everyday. There are ponies across the road that are so gentle and love to be feed carrots and apples. We loved our week at Prague House.

The views from every window were spectacular. Our house hosts, Cepta and Michael were so kind and welcoming as well. My family had a wonderful holiday that created very happy memories. The only thing that I might add to the house would be a laundry basket and more clothes pins to carry out laundry to hang outside.

The views are spectacular, the people in the area are so welcoming and Prague House, or Ti Cepta to the locals, is exceptional!! It has everything we could ever need, is warm and inviting and equipped to the fullest. The ponies in the neighbouring field gallop to meet us, (maybe from the rustling of the carrot bag) and Michael and Cepta have ensured everything is perfect...a home away from home!!
