  • "What an absolute gem."

We have been renting vacation properties for over fifteen years in Ireland. Kissane's Cottage is by far the best yet! After getting a bit lost coming in the dark, a quick call to John and he told us to sit tight and he would come collect us. Even after I woke him up, John could not have been any nicer. The house sits on a huge lot off a quiet road. The house itself is fantastic! Spotlessly clean with everything you would ever need. The six of us were very comfortable with the enormous space. We could be together OR have private time. Plenty of space. Everyone kept commenting on the beautiful home. The little town of Beaufort has Galvin's bar where the barkeep was very friendly. Loved the charm. Killarney is a short drive. We were able to see: Killarney, Dingle, Ring of Kerry, Moll's Gap (just around the corner) Beara Peninsula and much more. Perfect spot to stay. We would definitely stay here again and again! Thanks John~Kelly

  • "Everything here is perfect."

From the location to the size of the house. The heating and showers work perfectly. The dining room with kitchen is a dream. So why only 4 stars? The slats of one bed are breaking out of their mountings. Some mattresses are sagging. The owner would be informed, so something will most likely change there. The wifi is extremely slow <1Mbit/s. We then used a D1 contract with an LTE router, so we could at least reach about 10Mbit/s. The owner is very friendly and helps with all requests. You can also meet him in a small shop within walking distance.

  • "The only fault we found were the beds as the mattresses were very uncomfortable and should probably be replaced."

Also the bed linen and bedroom rugs were a bit tired looking and could do with replacing. Everything else was very good and comfortable.
