Barr na hAille is a delightful, single-storey house situated in Ballyickeen, County Kerry.

With convenient off-road parking and stunning sea views, this family-friendly retreat is perfect for families or friends seeking a memorable escape amidst the stunning landscapes and rich culture of this charming Irish locale.

Upon entering this seaside retreat, you will be greeted by three inviting double bedrooms, each offering a serene space to rest after a day of exploration.

Freshen up in the stylish shower room, boasting a walk-in shower, basin, and WC, before making your way to the heart of the home, the kitchen/diner.

This space is well-equipped for all your culinary needs, and the utility room houses a handy microwave, washing machine, and tumble dryer for your convenience.

The dining room, complete with seating for six people and a warming electric fire, provides a wonderful setting for family meals and evening entertainment.

After dinner, retire to the inviting sitting room, where you can curl up in front of the TV and enjoy the warmth of the second electric fire.

The sitting room also has an eco/ electric radiator which can be timed/programmed by the guest.

Outside, the property boasts a beautifully maintained garden, complete with a patio area and lawn.

Here, you can enjoy the fresh Irish air whilst relaxing on the provided furniture, making this the perfect spot for a morning coffee or an evening drink under the stars.

With a wealth of attractions nearby, every day of your holiday promises exciting adventures.

Start with a relaxing day spent on the pristine sands of Coumeenoole Beach, basking in the sun and taking in the calmness of your surroundings.

There are two local restaurants with home baked goods and a pub within walking distance of the house to visit.

Also: Ceann Sibeal/ Dingle Golf links Clubhouse and restaurant is within 4 km of the house where parts of the Star Wars movie was filmed.

Adventure awaits at Cé Dhún Chaoin, also known as Dunquin Pier, famed for its scenic beauty, it provides breathtaking views of the nearby Blasket Islands.

Immerse yourself in rich local history and culture at The Blasket Centre, where you can learn about traditional island life.

Ryan’s Daughter was filmed in Dunquin and you can take walks to various film locations - the deserted village, Com Dhineol beach and or take a walk along the cliffs to visit the old schoolhouse in the film.

For those keen walkers, one of Ireland’s most famous long-distance trails, the Dingle Way, passes Barr na hAille as part of its 179km circular route around the Dingle Peninsula.

Overlooking Dingle Bay is the delightful town of Dingle which sits on a beautiful peninsula and boasts a fabulous harbour as well as a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants. Offering lovely beaches and stunning surrounding countryside, this lively town offers a host of activities for all the family, including great walking, cycling, fishing, horse riding, golfing and a range of watersport facilities. So, whether it's a trip to the Oceanworld aquarium for the whole family or a day out to the beach at Coumeenoole or for the grown-ups, a fascinating trip to Gallarus Oratory (thought to be Ireland’s oldest intact building) or indulge in a tour of the Dingle Distillery. Jump in the car and head to Tralee which is a short drive away and boasts an excellent range of pubs and eateries as well as the Tralee Aqua Dome which is one of the largest water parks in Ireland or for something a little more sedate, pay a visit to the museum and theatre in the town.
