  • "We have enjoyed our stay in your apartment and thanks for the matches."

The apartment is cosy, it has flair and looks nice. The furniture was good. Another lazy chair would be a surplus. We found opening and closing the window in the right bedroom a bit challenging. The curtain in the left bedroom window was partially broke. It was not a terrible defect but I would I should mention it. The wifi signal strength was mediocre. The "signal bubble" didn't reach the sitting area. Nether the less we had a great time. Thanks for having us.

  • "This is a lovely property quite stylish and very comfortable."

It is well situated for exploring the whole Killarney area. Better instructions are needed for finding it though. It just needs to say something like : From the N77Ring of Kerry road(signed to Kilorglin) take the R563 signed to Milltown. Proceed along this road until there is a left sign to Beaufort turn left here and it is the fifth house on the right. The instructions we had were hopeless. The apartment was well appointed although an extra saucepan with a lid would have been useful we could only find one. There were clear instructions about recycling and receptacles provided for food waste and plastics/cardboard etc but no details or receptacle for general waste. However despite these few niggles we thoroughly enjoyed staying there and would recommend it to anyone wanting to explore the Killarney area.

  • "A lovely clean property in a great location for the KIllarney lakes and mountains."

We stayed for 2 weeks and were very comfortable. The first week's weather was quite cold but the wood pellet stove worked well in the property and kept us warm since there is no control over the central heating system. Felt like home from home and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Everything in the apartment was immaculately clean. Probably the highest quality self-catering accommodation we have ever stayed in. Only problem - we would have needed 2 weeks to see the area! Would recommend it to anyone.

Perfect location for us , close to Carountoohill which we climbed day after arrival and near Gap of Dunloe - another beautiful scenic walk. Loved the house and the area and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.

Warm and comfortable down stairs with a sunny aspect to the place. Mary the host was lovely, as were the neighbours and pets. Nice quiet surrounding area, I would visit Faha again, if I was to holiday in Kerry. Thank you.

  • "We spent 4 nights at this accommodation in early September 2020."

It was not too difficult to locate on Google Maps. It is located near Beaufort, about 15 mins drive outside Killarney town in Co. Kerry. The owners, Mary and Sean, greeted us warmly on arrival. Mary gave us milk and left tea, coffee and a few basics for us in the apartment. Mary even baked a superb apple cake for us as well. The apartment is a fully contained annex to the owner's family home. It has it's own back garden and has a great feeling of space, after a couple of nights in a compact hotel room. There is a kitchen separated by a sitting room and bathroom on the ground floor. Upstairs is one double and one twin bedroom. The ceilings are arched, so be careful not to bang your head (like I did once) in the bedrooms. One drawback is you have to walk downstairs from the bedrooms to go to the bathroom which can be tricky if it's in the middle of the night. All mod cons are included such as a coffee maker, dishwasher and washing machine, iron and ironing board, TV with Irish and UK channels. There is a table football game in case the weather is rainy. WiFi is included but the speed in the area is slow, so using 4G data on your mobile phone is faster. The weather was warm during our stay. We loved visiting two beaches about 30 minutes drive from the apartment and Killarney town is quite special with the world famous National Park and lakes. Restaurant dinner prices are higher than Dublin generally, so we cooked dinner in the apartment on most nights. You will need a car to visit the local supermarkets. We had an issue with the kitchen radiator releasing a high-pitched noise when it was on. This was very promptly remedied by Sean once informed. Overall, an excellent property, with very friendly hosts who chatted often with us. The beds were comfortable and got good rest during our stay. If you have a car, I highly recommend a booking.

It's located about a 15 minute drive from Killarney just off the main route to the Dingle peninsula. Mary is a great host, we would happily stay there again if we are down that way again..

  • "We had a really good time and Mary was welcoming and ready to help."

It was great to have a place that welcomed our dog and suited her well. Although the accommodation could take 4 adults , the bedrooms are small and one is clearly designed to take 2 children. The toilet and bathroom facilities downstairs would not be ideal for 4 adults but for us , it was fine. We really enjoyed the place but directions for finding it over the last few miles were really confusing and need sorting out - much depends on whether you are approaching from the South or the North ! Everything worked really well and we enjoyed the wood pellet stove and I enjoyed my first experience of Netflix ! We would certainly go again if we were in the area.
