The lively town of Listowel has a good selection of cafes, pubs and restaurants for you to try, as well as a weekly farmers market, Listowel is a lovely place to spend a lazy afternoon, plus the town is situated on the banks of the River Feale, which offers fantastic fishing opportunities.
Within easy driving distance of your cosy cottage are many popular attractions and destinations to pack into your holiday such as the beachside golf course at Ballybunion and the wild and rugged county of Clare, just a short ferry journey away.
Alternatively, if you venture further south you can spend a day exploring the sights of Tralee, one of Kerrys largest towns.
The famous Ring of Kerry and Irelands biggest attraction, the Cliffs of Moher are also within easy reach.
