Visit the iconic Kilkenny Castle, St Canice's Cathedral or Rothe House for a trip back in time.

There are plenty of walking and cycling routes within the region to be discovered.

The gardens at Woodstock are most certainly a must whilst staying in the area, not to mention Jerpoint Abbey near Thomastown.
