  • "Tom’s cottage provided us with a sanctuary for little over a week."

We were in awe of the beautiful surroundings and the cottage itself was like an home away from home. Rosemary and Declan were wonderful hosts and brilliant communicators. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this property to anyone, especially people needing a quiet, comfortable and homely environment that is close to the excitement of Westport and the peace and healing of Craugh Patrick.

  • "A roomy, well positioned property with great facilities."

Good sized bedrooms and lounge. Great views out over the water and far enough out of Westport to be peaceful but handy(10-15 mins) Ideal spot for discovering the surrounding area

  • "My brother and I stayed at Tom's Cottage as a base whilst visiting family and friends in the area."

As soon as we walked in we felt at home. The cottage was beautifully presented and well equipped. It would be perfect for anyone who likes sailing or even just appreciates a stunning view. Hoping to return next year.

  • "We found the property to be very remote and quiet - we particularly liked in the morning to look out the half door and see the peaceful water and the boats."

The location was great because in half an hour you could be walking among the hustle and bustle of Westport. We went to Achill Island twice visiting Keem beach. We also visited a bog and went to Ballinrobe races. Then it was lovely to return in the evenings to the fire and the comfy couch.

As you prepare for bed, wash away the day in the shower room before choosing between the family room or double room to catch some rest, both neutrally presented with good storage space.

The property opens up to a large lawned where you can enjoy family games and picnics as you watch the boats bob with the tide, while there is also garden furniture for alfresco dining.

From the pier you can catch a boat trip out for fishing, or if you’d prefer to stay on land there are plenty of allocated fishing spots in the area.
