  • "Had a great holiday."

Beautiful house, plenty of space, modern and best of all, was exactly as was advertised on webpage. Would definitely go back. Pool table, dart board in garage a nice extra touch. Maybe put a light in garage would be a suggestion, but overall, it was perfect. Thanks for a great holiday.

  • "Only 2 things missing that we would like to have had were the manual for the ovens (took us a while to figure out how to work them) and some bigger chopping boards."

The leg of the bed (it's curved) right inside the door of the twin-bedded room is positioned rather precariously, I tripped over it and fell forward, causing bruising to a toe.

  • "This property is in a great location for seeing Mayo and Galway."

Could be an amazing house with a bit of TLC and we felt communication could be improved, maybe an information pack about bin collection, hot water etc would be helpful. In saying all this we still had a brilliant time away.

  • "Kilkeeran Lodge was well equipped, clean and comfortable."

It was ideal for our party of ten (six adults,4 children). We will revisit.

  • "We would stay here again as the house is in a beautiful location."

However, the house and outdoor space is very sparsely furnished and lacked comfort. The kitchen had limited utensils and cookware; a problem if you plan to eat in. The local pub was not open during our visit.

The views from every window are amazing especially over the Lough. The owners were very friendly and helpful and even gave us some useful local knowledge.

  • "Loved this cottage and will definitely be going back."

It was immaculately clean! Excellent communication and WiFi signal. Hosts even left more logs and fire starters on step when we were out. Not sure I would like to have to cook for 10 as not enough large pans or casserole etc. Also only 10 mugs! Perfectly located for exploring.

  • "House was perfect."

Stocked with all the essentials. Nice and warm. There is a small backyard that is enclosed so it's safe for little children to play in. The beds are super good. We had the most restful sleep the week we went. Owner also very helpful and ready to assist. Overall a pleasant experience!:(

The hosts have paid attention to every detail. The house is beautiful. It's ideal for family and friends and has a relaxed feel. The location is amazing, with plentiful wildlife in a lakeside setting. It's an oasis of tranquillity and a beautiful place to get away from it all.
