"A beautiful modern house overlooking the Wild Atlantic Ocean at Purteen harbour."
Lots of space, very comfortable with modern appliances. It is a lovely island, so wild and beautiful. Lots to see and a great walking area. Say hello to the very friendly, and nosey, donkeys in the field next door. They come for their carrots and apples! Thank you Claire for your great communication and Anthony for your help during our stay.

"We loved our stay at Purteen!"
The house is spotlessly clean with high quality fittings and furniture. Lovely views from every window and a seating area outside too to enjoy the views from. Lots of room in the house to either get together as a group or to find a quiet spot for some peace. Our kids especially liked the upstairs room with tv to chill out. It's a 2 minute drive down to Keel from the house (or 10 -15 minute walk) where there are cafes/restaurants, a couple of pubs, a lovely beach and a well stocked little supermarket. And about 10 minutes drive from the gorgeous Keem beach which we were lucky enough to visit on a sunny day - stunning! The Achill Aquarium is just up the road also and well worth a visit. The house owners were lovely and made us feel really welcome. It was easy to contact them for any info as needed during our stay. A fabulous house and area and we look forward to staying there again!
