"Fantastic family stay, lovely welcoming feeling from the start (fridge and pantry had the basics for breakfast, milk, tea, real coffee, instant decaf, choice of cereals, even biscuits) the house was warm and cosy, quiet location, all the facilities to allow us to cook for the 10 days, we played games at the counter and we're able to watch Netflix and YouTube, showers were very powerful but mainly the host was on hand to answer any text or query we had straight away."
I'm sorry I didn't catch her name but she's a credit to the place, bringing us extra stools as we were up to 8 guests for the weekend, sending nice messages to make sure everything was ok... It is the human experience that's missing in so many self-catering places now. We loved Ciara's cottage and wish to book again. We can highly recommend this place.

"Very clean, spacious and cosy."
Great location - close to everything Sligo, Strandhill, Rosses Point, Parkes Castle, Drumshanbo and Carrick on Shannon. Riverstown is a lovely village with great walks, playgrounds & a very nice cafe in the Folk Museum. The owners were very helpful on any queries. The grounds around the house are great for little kids to play in and there are lots of outdoor toys (tractors, buggy’s and karts) for the kids to play.
Barry and his family were the perfect guests,,they left the property clean and tidy,,Would be very happy to see them again and would recommend them to other hosts, Property Owner
